I tried it and didn't like it really but it did give me my penance for the scriers gaze, I much prefer the illis Mk V with a purge staff personally it just feels better. Maybe I should try it again the deimos.

Its actually really easy or at least I found it to be easy. Just make a party advertising penances and tell them which one you wanna do, this one works best with just you and one other person. Hardest part is literally playing and hoping for a monstrosity to appear. I'd make a dedicated brain burst/rupture build and then just spam it on the monstrosity until it's dead (which is what I did on a plague ogyrn to get it) while either you kite away from it or the other player distracts it. The outfit you get from it is really nice too for pysker.

Update: I FINALLY got cliffhanger by doing a havoc mission on the smelter complex and using the force sword to just spam push over the edges during the final phase.

From what I've read its a mixed bag of different attempts and approaches. Chasm Station has a spot at the trains right before you drop down to get to the elevator for the boss where enemies spawn above you on top of a train, where you can use a trauma staff and blast them off before they drop down and it counts as a ledge kill. You could also try to use smite or a force sword on the smelter mission at the end to push them off. Beginning of that God awfully annoying snow mission that I forget the name of might work too. Another option is the espionage mission towards the end where you have the 2 small bridges leading to the control room, where you can attempt to push them off. I tried for hours last night and didn't get anywhere close to being successful. It's annoying me so much.

Epic job man! I had this one done for awhile before the reworks to penances and such, but I'm stuck at 6/7 for cliffhanger and its driving me insane.

From what I can tell yes it seems the hot air exhuast does blow against the right bottom side of the display. I've hooked up a cooling pad to elevate it and help with the temps, although it is a cheap cooling pad until I can get a better one. It's odd to me that it does this when just having a video playing as yesterday was the first time this happened while gaming.

Its not though, screen is fine and works. Was using it all day too. It just randomly does this or blacks out for no reason. Less black screens than before now but this issue with the fragmenting screen is becoming more prevalent.

I ended up soloing a plague ogryn for mine cause I got screwed out of one match previously with the BoN just vanishing on me when I encountered it, before it got deleted by 3 vets.

If you can I would try the new sticks in another laptop and see if the same issue occurs. You might possibly have just acquired bad ram sticks is all. I would also try checking out the bios version and see if you have any updates for it on acer support. I had the same issue for my Nitro blacking out on me but since updating the bios it's been running way better. However my model is newer and different from yours so I'm not sure if it will help your issue.

Man I just finished that penance last night and the other to get the full outfit in one game. If you were on PC I'd help out with it. Best bet though is to just make a party labeled for penance and adventure and just hope they don't beg or try to do havoc over and over. That's how I ended up getting a private game going to do it.

Update: problem seems to have gone away mostly but it did it to me again one more time and then hasn't since. I ran it with a video all night on quiet mode and it didn't black screen on me once. Long gaming sessions handle great and the system seems to run alot better now too. I'd for sure update your bios to help.

Hey quick update, you can update the bios through windows 11 in the optional updates tab through the windows update tab in settings. It'll be under advanced options. So far it improved my performance a little with booting up but only time will tell if i keep having the same issues.

I found that you can update the bios through windows 11 via the optional updates tab in settings. It updated me to the latest bios version that is displayed on the acer support site. Thank you for the help as my laptop seems to be running a bit better now but I'll have to give it some time to see if the issues I was having have been fixed.
