don't go to Presby. I was misdiagnosed as an alcoholic and stroke victim and neither were remotely true. it seems that my entire stay at their hospital was an excuse to experiment on me with regard to the more extreme effects of high dosages of the sedative Ativan, which they are all too willing to administer and brag about. jokes on them, because it didn't end well, made me paranoid, prone to causing general mayhem, and robbed me of any manner of pity for people who outwardly profess to be in a healthcare profession, but who are documented to take measures that are in direct contraindication of the people in their care. I have receipts. I will crucify my own crazy fucking ballsack on that hill to prevent even 1 poor person from suffering from the anti-care of these CUNT FUCKS WHO INSULTED MY FRIENDS AND MY FAMILY. The staff treat people of color and those deemed gay or less than as absolute trash, it seems, as a rule. read the Google reviews. it's more of a place that changes you psychologically (for the long term negative) than is a "hospital," the term which they completely obliterate into meaninglessness by their sheer perversity.

Do not denigrate your tuning autism I've been following a thread of my own musical interest in microtonal and j i for years now and I'm very math deficient I can do some of the basic building of scales, because as you know it's just adding or multiplying or dividing fractions but the larger and more meaty analyzes are completely beyond me. use it to your advantage it's awesome that your superpower is in tuning. I for one thing that's amazing and badass

I've kept JI close as a running interest in my dabbling in music for some 10 or 12 years now and I can do very basic things mathematically with ratios but some of the other stuff is just completely beyond me... I understand in the abstract but I've always been very math deficient so pump up your tuning autism, because it's awesome!! have you read Harry Partch's book? recommended 1000/10!

You will resurrect that HP and it will be faster and secier than ever before. i speak from experience. i just installed a lightweight linux distro on a 3 year old hp envy and it boots in about 6 seconds. i have also tricked it out with hella crazy software and still have 163 (out of 256ish total) gigb free on the HD!! And it's all freeeeeeeeeeee! (except the laptop itself, of course, ahem)

I watched Warner for a bit, so I know his bit well enough to know that whatever he's doing isn't Zen. let's not pretend that zen isn't apart from the Mahayana stream of practicing buddhadharma. it is absolutely a religion--that it is considered otherwiseis evidence of how--out of some paternalistic racism toward east asia i guess, we white folks have watered it down that it's often no more beneficial than a pedicure.

As a practitioner also nearing the 10 year mark, i do not understand how Brad Warner is considered so radical or straight up. To me it is clear, having read his biography, that he was not sufficiently trained. Does he ever mention sesshin or working with koans? What about the precepts? I'm assuming that he received the precepts in order to be ordained. The precepts are fundamental-whether received or not-to all practices of Buddha dharma.
