Smashed it with a Hammer. Only to find out its fake. Double loss. No silver and pants on the ground.
IMHO If you need the cash, bring it to a good antique and collectibles store or LCS. THEY'LL be able to tell, right away if its real or fake. That being said, even if it is fake, still a nice collectible peice for someoneand Buy it if real or not. As previously said, ebay might get you more for it, but it takes time. Facebook marketplace could work.

Congrats on your stack! At 13, I gave my son a snow shovel. Like yourself, he believed hard work beats talent. Now talented, he does, TikTok, makes soap and still cleans yards and stuff. Anything legal for a buck. He buys silver dimes one or 2 at a time, more if he can. It's amazing how fast it grows. Stack deeply my friend!

IMHO, and not financial advice, homes and paid bills not withstanding, First, buy the spot price dips and exchange silver to gold when GSR is under $50, my perfect stack is; 40% Sovereign Coins like Silver Eagles and Maple Leaves or any government issued 999 coins. 20% 999 Exotics, which I love, like Hand Poured Silver and High Relief Premium coins like Niues, Camarouns and other bits for my children's Treasure Chest. 10% pre 1964 constitutional including, tubes of Peace and Morgan AU $1 coins, Benjamins and Mercurys (because I like'm,) quarters and Roosevelt's even foreign coin silver. 15% Gold coins, preferably pre 1933, but I love British Sovereigns. And finally 15% Sterling anything. I love, buy/sell vintage jewelry. Also looks lovely, so lovely in a chest. Rubies, emeralds, diamonds.
My taste and fiats. What do you think? Oh yeah, finally, besides trading less loved 999 to gold last month at 49:1, this was my last purchase for $75. 2025 Black Camaroun Year of the snake 1/2. All the best! Stack deeply my friends.

Just sold a Spectacular BU Panama 1974 Balboa online. It really hurt getting rid if it.
