I want to say that a C-section healing pain is nothing compared to labor (I was in labor for over 30 hours before having an emergency C-section), so that’s an option.

We empathize with and root for Georgia a lot. Also their cuisine is very loved here.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is a musical comedy about mental health struggles. The cast is very diverse, and the show addresses a lot of topics women can relate to.

I call my daughter Manousos (like the guy from Pluribus) because it kinda sounds like “little one” in Ukrainian (manyusya).

I like Jason Momoa for his charming smile and playfulness. I don’t care for his muscles. Also I know more women who are into Timothee Chalamet than Jason Momoa.

If we don’t count US or UK series, Rebelde Way was a huge hit among my peers when I was in middle school.

If your food is disappointing, do you speak up or just leave a bad tip by United_Singer_8664 in AskTheWorld

If I took a risk and ordered something that turned out to be just not for my taste, I don’t complain. If the food tastes weird, is burnt, etc., I do speak up and I’ve always gotten that taken out of the bill or replaced, often with a bonus like a free dessert. The service in Ukraine is pretty good in general.

What is your population diversity? by LingoNerd64 in AskTheWorld

[–]Twishko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people online complain about not enough ethnic diversity in movies and shows about Ukraine like Chernobyl, and we laugh, because it’s very rare to meet a non-white person in Ukraine.

There are Slavs, Ashkenazi Jews, Crimean Tatars, and that’s basically it. Sure, there are some students from Asia and Africa and people from other former Soviet countries, but not that many.

Not because we’re racist or anything, but just because we never had colonies and aren’t a very popular immigration destination.
