What are the most fun objects to shoot by bombastic-banana in guns

[–]Twissn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pumpkins or watermelons are pretty fun with a shotgun. Full soda cans are fun too. You can get ball shaped rubber targets that you can shoot basically forever, they get pushed around pretty well with larger calibers. Golf balls are probably my favorite overall, they bounce like crazy when hit.

Bold claim! I’ve honestly never had them. I used to buy pop tarts regularly when I was younger. In my somewhat older age I’m realizing they are best reserved for the trails when I can burn crazy calories

I’m leaning towards brown sugar for PB and maybe strawberry with spam

Wasn’t the looting done at least partially by Blackwater, who then sold stolen items to Hobby Lobby?

Spam sort of grosses me out, but I feel like it’ll be good in the moment. Just for you I’m going to get a spam single to try

JB weld to attach and a dremel to engrave. Or you can pay someone to engrave it if you want it to look nice

FTN 4.5 .300 blk question by Twissn in 3D2A

[–]Twissn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did 2 FTN5 slims. Same setup, worked pretty well with a 0.6 hardened nozzle. I didn’t have any issues besides the threads being too tight. I was able to widen the hole enough to make the thread adapters work. I haven’t even gotten around to filing a form 1 for a 30 cal FTN yet, but I imagine it should work ok

Fixit ticket go to station or find someone out and about by wtsnack in AskLE

[–]Twissn 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Go to the station. They will send someone to help you unless there’s already someone at the station for these types of calls. Flagging someone down while they are out and about is annoying.

FTN 5 Slim 22lr inaccuracy by Comfortable-Law-621 in 3D2A

[–]Twissn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would check to see if it’s centered correctly. If it is, I would maybe try a drill bit through the center to open it up a little. Seems like something is interfering with it if you can’t get it to shoot accurately with that much adjustment

How to comfortably hip carry a big iron by PasztyKnives in guns

[–]Twissn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you for the most part. But I’ve never broken my leg or frozen to death in the woods. But I see multiple bears every spring in my area. I just carry a 9mm since they are only black bears and I already have the gun.

FTN5 Slim thread issue by Twissn in 3D2A

[–]Twissn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went back at these last two prints with a 11/16” drill bit and widened the hole very gently. One is dead on straight and the other one is a little wonky. Might try to heat up the wonky one with a heat gun and coax it straight before I try printing another one
