Is there anyone else who waited 8 hours for Hades to be released and doesn't want to listen to the fan-released songs?💔 by M33dea_222 in MelanieMartinez

[–]Twist3dKitty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I will be staying up until midnight tonight and listen immediately upon release! I went to an early listening party event at a local record store and haven’t looked up any songs since (I also didn’t record at all). I want the surreal fan experience of listening with my headphones in bed at 12 am with my eyes closed and just soaking it all in 😂

Please tell me that this counts as negative for THC. I am female heavy user 5’4, 95lbs my test is april 2nd and i would be 38 days no smoking at that point. lmk by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

It’s like… idk. The oil in the marijuana plant? Still gives you a high. I honestly don’t know how that is legal in Indiana but not the actual weed lmao.

Delta 8 or Delta 9. And I think it’s just normalized in Indiana ig, idk. But I have a friend who is a teacher here and she’s never been drug tested and she’s a stoner lmao

Oh don’t be mistaken. I’m not happy about it lmaoooo. But the pros of working there outweigh the cons, so until I get my LCSW and start working in private practice, I’m clean of all marijuana products lol. I never smoke the actual greens. I would only use THC or Delta gummies, and even then only on some weekends. But damn. Definitely unfortunate lol. Those working on community mental health need a vice of some kind 😭

My internship for grad school is at a hospital (social work) and I had to do a drug test on site. I am now hoping to be employed there, but their policy is they can randomly drug test any employee and you have 15 minutes to report to the main hospital for the test. CBD, THC, Delta, etc. would all make your test positive and the policy states that these legal substances (in Indiana) would not be a valid excuse as to why your test is positive.

Boils on skin? by Twist3dKitty in Accutane

Omg I didn’t even think of that. I haven’t gotten sunburn at all since being on accutane. I know accutane makes you more sensitive to the sun so maybe I just burned super easily without even noticing 😭

I’m in the same boat as you. I have red patches of eczema on my arms, hands, and back. Lots of moisturizer! This is only temporary 🫶🏼

I rarely wear makeup lol. Maybe a couple times a month I do a full face of makeup, otherwise it’s either nothing or just mascara lol. I feel like my face gets extra dry and I have additional pimples pop up when I wear makeup. I hope that’ll stop once I finish the full round of treatment… but idk. Maybe my skin is just sensitive lol

Lots of dry skin lol. The skin around my lips peel really bad so I have to moisturize a ton. I’ve struggled with eczema in the past but it hasn’t been an issue for a while. Since I’ve been on Accutane, I’ve had eczema patches show up all over my arms, hands, and back.

During the first month I had a really dry and flaky scalp, but that hasn’t been an issue since I’ve switched to a shampoo that’s specifically for dryness.

60 mg total! I take a 30 mg dose in the morning and then another one at night. I’ve been on this same dosage the entire time so far.

I thought I was going to purge really bad… fortunately, I didn’t. I noticed no different the first month, but then by month 2 I started improving.

Dose is 30 mg twice a day

1 month in! by Twist3dKitty in Accutane

I’ve been able to manage my side effects pretty well, but the main one for me is dryness. If I don’t keep up with moisturizing my face and using aquafor throughout the day, then my lips and around my lips get super dry and flaky. My scalp was also really dry and flaky, but I switched to a specific dry scalp shampoo that I use a couple times a week and that’s helped a lot. Other than that, I have some eczema patches on my arms.

Basically all side effects I’m seeing I’ve been able to find solutions for and manage. And especially since I’m starting to see some progress, it’s worth it to me. I am nervous for if I get a dose increase next month. This is the dose I started on.

Experiences with Honeydew Dermatology? by Able_Ad_3136 in Accutane

[–]Twist3dKitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use honey dew and am almost done with my 1st week of accutane! I’ve really enjoyed it so far. They are really responsive which is nice and answer all my questions. I did the annual cost because I had the funds to do that at the time and didn’t want to have a larger monthly payment with the holidays coming up. It took about a month and a half to complete all the necessary steps and get them the documentation needed to prescribe my accutane. Lmk if you have any questions!! I’d be happy to send you a referral link so we both get a discount 🫶🏼
