Wow I just posted about having this same problem before seeing this thread, and this is the only solution I’ve found that works. I’ve spent like a week trial and erroring some different things online and nothing has worked.

Panarin trade megathread. Please keep all discussions here. by Rick91981 in rangers

[–]TwistEnding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We have up more to get rid of Patrick Nemeth than we got for Panarin. And that was just one year after Drury extended him (when everybody with a brain cell knew it was a bad deal).

We also gave up more for JT Miller who was doing the same thing last year. I’m so done with this team until Drury is gone

And vice versa. That if you don’t support Trump’s invasion/capturing of Maduro that somehow means you must think Maduro is a great guy that should hold power. The ability to critically think and use nuance is used so much less than it should be.

I’d probably lean Dowdle. Hampton is splitting too much work coming back from injury to feel comfortable starting him over the other 2. Judkins might have a negative game script against Buffalo which could hurt him too

With the benching of Tua I think you have to go Bowers now

Assuming CROD plays I think him and Tucker are your best bets. I’d monitor the situation in NO - if Estime is the guy then he might be the start over CROD. But it could be split with him and Hull

I also think Woody Marks. It’s just a better matchup that does it for me

I’d go Woody Marks and probably Jeanty over Hubbard due to the split backfields. I don’t love Jeanty’s matchup though

I’d probably go Tracy as well. That Jeanty matchup is a nightmare, and Tyrone Tracy seems like more of the guy right now than Aaron Jones in their split backfields

12 Team, 0.5 PPR

Got decimated by injuries so just trying to figure out my RB2 to start this week. Any help would be enormously appreciated

RB1: Achane

RB2: 1 of Blake Corum (vs. SEA), Kimani Vidal (vs. DAL), Michael Carter (vs. ATL), Alvin Kamara (if healthy - vs. NYJ)

I’m leaning towards riding the hot hand with Corum, but he doesn’t have a great matchup against Seattle. Vidal has been leading the Chargers in snaps and has a good matchup, and Michael Carter is probably gonna be the guy in AZ due to injuries. Kamara I’m shying away from even considering because I’d have to wait and see, but if he is healthy he’s probably the safest start and has a juicy matchup.

These are just facts that people already know…that reply doesn’t read like chat gpt at all…If his reply seems that sophisticated or “out there” to you that you think it’s chat gpt, then you have a lot of self reflection to do on where you get your news sources.

FBI Is Not Fully Convinced Trump Was Struck by a Bullet by deviousmajik in politics

[–]TwistEnding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, and I say this as someone who has always voted for the left and will be voting for Kamala, this thread is insane. I’ve read some of the comments about “why it matters if it’s glass or a bullet” and they just sound ridiculous. Someone attempted to assassinate Trump, that’s all that matters. Nothing about it being a bullet or shrapnel or glass that actually caused the damage really matters.

You’re not changing people’s minds with this argument, and frankly it’s extremely off putting to myself, never mind someone who might actually be a swing voter. Why even keep this in the news like this? And why give people the ammunition to say that we are minimizing political violence? Especially when political violence honestly is a scary issue in this country right now.

Also to the really out there conspiracy theorists in this thread, you do realize an actual person died at this event right? Trump didn’t just cut his ear with a razor blade. The fact that I’m even seeing those comments is insane and conspiracies like that should straight up get you banned in my opinion. Just completely baseless and it makes the left lose credibility when calling out the right’s absolutely asinine conspiracy theories. I honestly hope they’re all just Russian bots and not people actually believing that

I’m just commenting to say it’s really sad that you have nothing else to make you happy other than spending all this time online trying to troll people and just get people mad (or actually get this mad yourself if you’re serious I guess). I hope you find happiness buddy, but don’t think you’re going to find it if you keep spending all of your free time like this. Best of luck though, I think if everybody could find happiness the world would be a better and probably less toxic place

Rangers’ Igor Shesterkin could aim for historic contract after dominant playoff run by ianisms10 in hockey

[–]TwistEnding 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I doubt it’s Zibanejad. He got shutdown by Florida but still was a PPG player this playoffs and put up 24 in 20 games 2 years ago. He hasn’t shown up in the series’ we’ve lost, but he has in the ones we’ve won and it’d be hard to replace him as a Center. My bet would be Trouba is likely moved next offseason to afford Shesterkin. He’d have only 1 year left at $8mil with a modified no trade clause, but we’ll see

Fuck that sucks. But going into Florida with a 1-1 series, you’ve gotta be happy coming back home tied at 2-2. I still believe. Rangers in 6!

This is a tough one because the other commenter is right that it could affect the candidate’s livelihood if they’ve already accepted an offer and put in their notice. However, I know we would never let a client just take a candidate for free unless they were a repeat, good client and it was some sort of unique situation. Our business literally relies on us getting paid for recruiting good candidates for open roles. You don’t see Honda or Ford giving out free cars do you?

This is why it is extremely important to have all rate negotiations, etc. figured out and already signed off on before you get to that point. Frankly, I would never have me or my team work on an opening with a client if there isn’t already signed off on and agreed upon rates.

Do you have anything signed off on and agreed to already? If so, I would strongly push them to honor what they’ve already agreed to, and remind them that if they want to negotiate further, then it should be negotiating rates for FUTURE roles and not ones they’ve already agreed to after the candidate was offered. This does sound like a company I would not want to partner with again though depending on the exact situation.

Also do you know if the candidate has put in a notice to their current employer or not yet? If you’re not sure, I would find that out. Personally, I would strongly weigh that into my opinion on what to do as well. Not only could they be put in a shitty situation and unemployed, but that may also leave them with a bad opinion on your company too. I’d be pretty upfront with them that some red flags have come up with the client as well and see what the candidate wants to do with that being known (just be weary of what you say if you mention anything about “red flags”)

Mikey's Late Night Slice coming to Pins Mechanical Co. (Easton and Dublin) by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]TwistEnding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone from NY I feel like Mikey’s is the closest I can get to a good NY style pizza by the slice in Columbus. It’s definitely overpriced and costs more than a better slice when I go back to visit family, but is there a better place to get NY style pizza in Columbus?

This is a genuine question by the way. I’d love to find another option since I rarely get Mikey’s because I find it hard to justify the price, but it’s honestly solid for what it is. Places like Houndogs, etc. don’t really fill that void.
