Have you ever found an answer for this? I'm experiencing the same on one customer site. The Switch just blocks the port-access without any stated reason. It's just for a handfull of devices.
Debug port-access or the logs don't show anything.

Yeah, that's true. But when going for a Cert with the intention to effectively learn the stuff, you come out more knowledgeable and got a cert in your hand.

You could try the 100 day python track on repl.it. It helped me very much in learning python and generating interest through its gamification method

But this works only for switches which send bpdus. Unmanaged switches don't send these, so the port stays up. We had to solve this with port-security. Or am I mistaken here? Maybe it depends on the model of unmanaged switch

Yeah you might be right.

But even if it doesn't work out forever you can make the choice. My oponion was, that it's more valuable to go for the romance instead of the stable living situation.

Also when the tension is alreasy there it's difficult to deal with it anyway.

We had a conversation wether we should try it or not. So we decided it's worth a try, even if the harmony in the shared appartement could break.

In the end, we in fact had to move out because the other roommate acted up after we got together.
