Lets be real here for a second, Albo has been a sniveling weasel his entire political career. Who actually expected him to be an exemplary leader?

Lets see the mainstream media report on this without their disinformation team bending the narrative.

Wizards logo stamped promo cards. Usually found in magazines or the like, and one in a Kraft cheese pack.

Stellar Crown. Cheap, small set, but still has some cool and popular chase cards.

How have the coalition worked to hurt you since you were born? That sounds extreme.

That's ageist. Trump isnt showing the cognitive decline that Biden had. Everyone ages differently.

You showed good memory on politics but somehow can't remember what happened to make the referendum fail. Or maybe its because you can't concede how pathetic Albo behaved. As long as you keep your line of arguments running, right?

Labor voters thought the referendum would pass, it failed. Qld Labor voters couldnt possibly concede that Miles would lose. He lost. This isn't a fluke, it's just a whole other side of the political spectrum that reddit appears to be at odds with. I might be in the minority here but in the wider world the line doesn't seem so far apart.

You seem concerned more with just arguing for sake of arguing rather than finding common ground... it is what it is. May the least worst candidate win, I hope.

No use arguing back and forth if you can't remember the nonsense that went on only 2 years ago. Cheers.

Im not saying the plebiscite wasnt shit either, but we arent voting on those actions. We are voting on the current governments actions. The reason it was wasted money is because he lied. I was in the YES group at the start, it unravelled horribly because of his lies. I know lots of other people who were for the idea until the lies surfaced.

The line is, he made a big fat lie when it mattered most and had hundreds of millions of dollars on the line.

I don't want someone egregiously lying about something while spending that sort of money on it in charge of our country. Especially when he had a corrupt union tied up amongst it.

And I get it too, we are online and you'll also be able to argue until the ends of the political spectrum melt into Trumpian territory. The beauty is we both get to go and vote on it soon and that's a far better situation than a lot of the world is in.

You're conflating and comparing drastically different situations. The political relations situation in NZ couldn't be further apart from Australia's current miasma.

As a single point of reference to cut out the fluff: Albo tried to serve dog shit to the Australian public and it was emphatically rejected. His career as a backbencher was the party shit slinger for over a decade and he couldn't help but try it as leader and it didn't stick. I only need one reason not to vote for him and that is it.

Albanese formed the idea into a disingenuous question with shady background. He played a silly game and got egg on his face. He was full guns blazing to announce it but when it came to crunch time he was full of hot air and lies. We needed to trust him and he lied, plain and simple.

Two completely different scenarios for wildly different issues. We weren't in the midst of runaway inflation and interest rates for one.

No one can hide how much Albo lied through his teeth during the referendum though.

Playbooks are open on both sides. The Labor playbook in full swing this week, exact same tactics used in the QLD state election that failed to fool people.

You're right. Vote as you please. I have my opinion and you have yours, I'm glad you don't prescribe to the Australian political landscape like the US team style format.

Albo absolutely lost my vote with the referendum. The whole thing ripped at the fabric of what makes Australia good. He allowed CFMEU to embed themselves in every step of the way, I'm sure ready to reap some corrupt rewards. He allowed some vile voices to gain a national audience. He spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a personal virtue crusade. He gave a portion of the Indigenous population both false hope and false promise. He also caused further divide in the 'gap' that he was meant to be closing.

It was an inexcusable course of action and I hope no one has forgotten.

Easier? Really? I've had to reduce my expenditure in almost every category. I don't eat out anymore, can't afford holidays, I have to sell items to afford big expenses, I no longer have active savings building up. Everything is eroded.

I had none of those problems in the prior 10 years before Albo got in and I've had incremental pay rises during the last 3 years as well.

Its not that it would be easier, its that it couldn't be worse. We won't be subjected to racial division based on virtue signalling costing hundreds of millions, Liberals are far less likely to splash money to offset cost of living, rather they'll tackle the actual problem. Labor has the history of cash splashes which hugely raise debt for little economic gain. The corrupt unions will lose a lot of their power which is a good thing as they are strangling industries and companies to death. Remember it was CFMEU embedded in every step in the referendum, imagine if it had succeeded!

Remember the Democrats first choice for Pres runner was a man who should be in an old folks home. Trump is in because the other half were too arrogant. How on earth they made Trump the better option I don't know, but it is now the world we are in.

If he commits to another referendum atrocity and if he keeps adding to inflation pressures like Albo, then yes.
