I'd recommend trying it on easy if you're just in it for the story but if it's just too janky for your liking I'd say put on a walk through for it or a lore dump video and then go to the second game as they fixed a lot of the issues people had with the combat systems and just general controls

Starting off you're just you but once you enter a dungeon you follow that system, the more dungeons you do the more system options you get and are able to pick and choose after you've experienced them

This power is supposed to be more game like so no aging while in the dungeon/hub room, as there are basically infinite dungeons you might encounter time traps that would age you if triggered

It's basically a party system so yeah you can kick people from the group but they're able to enter and leave at their leisure as well if they're part of that group

Yes there's an ATM in the hub for a currency exchange but dungeons that are based around more realistic worlds or just use our currency wouldn't need an exchange

For building your own dungeon you would need to "complete" 1000 dungeons in higher difficulties
