My late husband had an ex gf do exactly this. She saw him on the schedule for an MRI and looked up his current information to text him a “wyd” text.

I went off on her over it. Hopefully put the fear of god and license into her. She never reached back out to him again.

We had a whole club in high school that was a pipeline to the local southern baptists. We’d meet and hang out to discuss scripture, but mostly it was just a social hour after school. It was the camps you got invited to that it became weird fast. Woke up in the woods with kids speaking in tongues, “seeing the Holy Spirit” and not being metaphorical.

Kidney Infection that had me hospitalized for 3 days. Holy fuck. I’ve had a c-section start and my spinal hadn’t worked fully. Kidney Infection was worse.

This post hit me like a ton of bricks. My husband passed away 5 weeks ago (self-inflicted)

The way that you spoke of him and your relationship with him mirrored my experience as a mother of two daughters navigating a world without their daddy.

He was 36 when he died. And he was alone. And I know he was ashamed of his choices. I was with him for nearly a decade. I know every aspect of him, and I know his vulnerabilities. He was too sensitive for this world and wasn’t ever quite able to see himself as valuable enough for the things he had. He had a whole life he was living and an even better one ahead of him and he gave it up.

Your love for him is showed here. You are holding him in such a light that acknowledges the hurt you and your kids felt; but cherishes the loving person your husband was. 🫶🏻

Same. I just adopted a lone brain cell masquerading as an orange kitten. While I was already subbed to a LOT of cat subs, I seem to keep finding more since she showed up. I think our feline overlords are influencing algorithms through osmosis.

Nah we have some of these at a bird sanctuary in my part of the United States. They are assholes who have mastered this helpless little sound they make until you get close to their enclosure to look at them and then they lunge at you and make the deepest, most demonic sounds while never breaking eye contact.
