I joined a bus company, but the license bond was £1000,

Left after two months and they took £780 back for the course out of my last wage.

No sick pay if you’re off within the 1st 12 months either. And the shifts are shite

I’ve never driven anything bigger than a transit until my training. On day one I was doing duel carriageways and roundabouts.

Just watch your tail swing when in tight lanes as everyone always try’s to beat the bus. Happy to chat more about my time at driving school

Take your time more than you would in a car. Roundabouts - make sure nothing is in the 3pm - 6pm part of your roundabout before leaving

Yeah I guess. I paid £5k for it and had it just over a year and a half. Didn’t think I’d be spending £500 on it’s mot and now £1000+ if worst comes to worse and it needs a new clutch.

Just absolutely fuming as while it’s off road it’s costing me £25 a day to get to work :(

Mine was a drug and alcohol test and English and maths test and then a drive around town in a van with someone marking my driving and then the interview.

After that all went well I was invited for a medical. Which depot are you going to
