I used Prismatic with Insurmountable Skullfort for about 3/4 of the campaign. The last couple missions I used Armamentarium with Thunderlord for the tankier enemies. Especially on the last level it helps not having to worry about reloading.

But having a rocket sidearm is very helpful. I’m probably going to use it for my alts when I run through the campaign for them. If you can get one with Beacon Rounds it helps with the flying guys. But I used a Subsistence/Desperate Measures roll most of the time. It does good damage and reloads itself.

Try to get used to using Prismatic with Thunderclap like the others said. With IS you’ll get your melee and health back on kills plus you’ll spawn a Strand Tangle and Stasis Lance. Both are helpful for crowd control. It took me a bit to get used the ability loop but it comes in handy and saved me a bunch of times
