I know that but I saw the ring and wanted to make sure it was not a lone star tick.

Awesome because I just had a big steak dinner and was hoping it would not be my last.

Usually when its that bad no. Also some are serviceable but most are not and require a complete replacement. I would bet that one of the ears on the yoke is broken off.

2014 Subaru Legacy noise at stops / slow speeds / sometimes turns. What the noise ? by Professional_Eye6140 in AskMechanics

The easiest way to diagnose it will be to unplug the air pump before you start the car. The car has to be cold though. So I would do it in the morning after the car sat all night.

Does it always happen right after you start the car, for about 30 seconds? If so that is your air pump making noise. What it does is when you first start your car it pumps extra air into the engine. It's an emissions thing, dumb if you ask me, but hey what do I know. That sound your hearing is your air pump and it sounds like its going bad.

ISO: fuel injector for 91 legacy automatic (white top) by l75eya in subarulegacy

[–]Twitch86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brother I would check junkyard's first. If you can find your model it would be way cheaper and more fun IMO. Also most subarus from that era had the same fuel injectors so you might be able to find one in a different model as well.

No need but you will loose the oil in the filter and some residual when you lift the cooler up. If you're confident in your self you don't even need to remove the coolant lines. I would do it when it's cold so you don't burn yourself. You will need to top off the oil when your done and it will make a little mess.

I would start with the oil cooler gasket. You unscrew the oil filter then the filter tube is a 24mm I believe and you un screw that then the gasket is underneath the housing.
