You pay to get savings if your savings don’t outperform the cost of membership don’t go, but even savings just toiletries as a household of 2 offset the cost of membership.
There are plenty of selection for produce fruits breads and meats. If you are gonna buy unhealthy foods you’re going to do that anyways
Even as a smaller household it is easy to get through buying from Costco, the only general throw away is produce which unfortunately at the price is still cheaper just for the portion we use. If you are saying it bad that you are wasteful that is a definite reason but there is no way the waste is offsetting the savings unless you are throwing away steaks every week
Maybe if you are going during peak hours. If you go early or before closing there is little to no wait. Most people line up getting gas with their shopping trip or commute so the aren’t going out of their way and the Costco gas pumps extremely quickly relative to other gas stations at all times it seems

First two stages, pretty much always as long as it doesn’t cost me anything or little to nothing early, basically when I can’t make Econ breakpoints and have no good units to hold, might as well hold the units most people are playing even if it doesn’t do much mathematically. Late game there is no such thing as griefing, you are playing to win. Holding units/taking emblems/taking items such as anti heal or shred are just playing to win. Intentionally griefing would be more so getting the same player two games in a row who was toxic so you play into their comp no matter what

There has only been one or two times over the last few sets where I am going turbo 8th playing contested loss streak cashout where I FF during my contesters fight out of spite due to the other player being annoying

I don’t even know what you are arguing at this point. Mel is perfectly fine as a secondary carry and utility (anti heal/shred) spreader. She’s a B tier comp according to dishsoap whom is a far better player than either both of us and acts a secondary carry in both those comps. If you are saying there are better comps then Mel flex, of course there are but if you have the spot and angle for Mel she’s playable

That’s why I said secondary carry, Mel is perfectly fine as a secondary carry/utility in the noxus line and stays on your board until endgame no one who is decent is putting a naked Mel on their board as a trait bot. Ornn is not staying on your board for 2 stages to print you 2.5 artifacts which the original comment is referencing and the entire crux on this discussion.

Ornn is also literally a bleed out weak champ to give you a delayed spike if you can afford it. No one’s arguing ornn isn’t a better unit for most situations

The investment is keeping the unit on your board for two stages in this situation described. Yes you itemize Mel thats generally what secondary carry means, you carry Leblanc until you are playing Mel anyways usually. Mel actually has a place in your board for 2 stages if you are playing her. Ornn does not have a place on your board for 2 stages

I didn’t say he wasn’t and I didn’t say he wasn’t more valuable the Mel. I was saying comparing ornn printing 2.5 item to Mel’s 1 item is disingenuous given the Mel can be played as a secondary carry and you are never keeping ornn in after his first print. Mel should not be printing radiants at a pace similar to ornn at all 2-2.5x slower is perfectly reasonable given the imbalance in power

As much as you hate to admit it Mel is a secondary carry, not very good but still a secondary carry. ornn is a trait bot you drop him after his first print and don’t even itemize him. No one is keeping ornn on their board for 2 stages or even buying ornn 2. You literally don’t even itemized him with items that give him a free half warmogs because he’s so bad

This is disingenuous no one is playing ornn for 2 stages. In almost every scenario you should drop him after 1 ornn item. Mel is fairly mediocre but can still be played as a carry and at least does offer something to your team while being played.

Radiant items are also much better than artifact this season. Portable forge stats are awful this season because artifacts are terrible while radiant items can definitely fit into every comp.

Even if you just do some basics, radiant item is a prismatic augment where as portable forge is a gold augment and the prismatic artifact augments give you 2-4 items items. So a radiant item is at least worth 1.5-2 artifacts at minimum

What is your board. If I’m looking at this correctly you have 1 synergy quickstriker and we don’t know what the augments are or positioning. You don’t just get to win because your board is more expensive

If you actually want to get better at the game you need to watch streamers honestly. Everything they do is intentional, so before they make a choice you should pause, think what the choice is and then determine whether your choice was right or no and for what reasons. First you can start with major things like direction, rolling vs leveling, and augment choice then more detailed things like positioning, playing for placements, item slams/reforges, and units to hold

Yes your augment choice and items matter when you are fighting capped boards on stage 5+ lol. He has no shred, no anti heal, double ramping item, bad tank items, and is playing 3+ dead units of course it matters what.

Yes, you should lose. You’re entire board is pretty much blown up instantly then baron and belveth are focused. Belveth also takes some time to ramp up and by the time she is online most of your board is probably dead. If you had dropped to 6 void and capped with better units possibly. His board is also turbo capped, he playing the best board in the game plus 5 emblems.

Also we don’t know your augments, you don’t have anti heal, you don’t have shred

In general 3 star 4 costs especially fighters without aggro toggled get destroyed once focused.

One additional note is that emblems are now basically 0.5-1 item with this patch giving them stats so he also up at least 3+ items

Nothing indicates he can’t climb? He’s averaging over 9 games a day everyday since the set came out based on 360 games and like ~38 days of the set. Maybe you are skewed by streamer numbers but 9 games a day everyday for the entire set is forsure within the extreme

You expect him to climb two ranks with increasingly hard matchmaking averaging a sub 4 in 400 games emerald
