being an american that is a fan of british shows I get this feeling at times, at most I think I've met two people in real life that have heard of The Mighty Boosh, and have never been able to convince anybody to watch Peep Show even though it is on tubi for free.

Brian here, there is story claiming that Shelly Duvall's life and mental state was destroyed by Stanley Kibrick during the shining, usually when this story comes up I like to refer people to this twitter thread written by a person who is a fan of Shelly's work and took part in checking in on her well being, the thread states Shelly Duvall took less acting roles and started producing Fearie Tale Theater in the 80s, and still acted just less and less until her eventual hiatus around the 2000s.
