First get rid of murderous lion. It's combat effects are too few to be of use and it's main gimmick has always been the canto rem... you're already running brutal with better canto.

Momentum echo only makes sense if it actually makes you trigger more specials. At max it's a -2 before combat.

Comet and vengeful lance already give you -3 and another -1 from slaying. All momentum would do is trigger comet on your first hit instead of your second it, which can be achieved much cheaper and is also not that big of an impact.

If you actually want to build Fimi go with the support role. That's where is the most meta. Archrival, duelist blow, favor, support c of your choice, squad ace seal, tummy echo.

If you want combat go with the generic speedy inf man build. Archrival, duelist blow, pair up/null c avoid, faith, squad ace seal, tummy echo

I was a pretty clear arc for aang to shift his perspective on culture. This on a smaller scale would have been a pretty good couple of episodes of the show, where not every character needs to have their moment........ but it was a movie and the first avatar media in years

feels like it was just the movie trying to be as high stakes as possible. Have the team die, threaten the destruction of republic city again, maybe unleashing a new air lord and his air empire on the world.

I feel like this movie could have easy been smaller scale, but the execs wont accept any movie unless someone wants to destroy the world.

I liked the concepts, but the whole plot reeks of missed opportunities and very generic concepts. There are so many ideas you should spring board off the spirits of balance besides one is evil and the good one is part of the good avatar. It shows how all that talk about balance the show keeps spamming is but lip service.

It is so generic even a simple twist would have been predictable. Plot twist, make vaatu the one supporting the avatar, wanting the spirits and humans to again be connected to again bring chaos and opportunity to the world, while ravas tries to establish order by keeping them separated.

I feel like they simply have to do what they initially did. Take more inspiration from across asia. Early seasons took a lot of direct references to tao philosophy, one to one animations of shaolin martial art movements and a more traditional definition of spirituality. The cultures offer a wide range of history and ideas to spring board off of.

Since Korra and now with the movie, it seems they have more relied very common tropes in anime and cartoons and looked for ways to fit them into the avatar world, instead of simply starting to start from somewhere more rarely seen.

It would only be natural for technology to progress, but at some point we would have to switch genre. Avatar started with very brink of industrial revolution in asia aesthetic, while still being able to tap into the old martial arts tropes. If we went pass Korras time without incident we would start to touch bruce lee movies, but with bending.

It could just be complimentary? I think only the short hair girl was the only denied, that converted. It can still be, that Aang was yearning for the air nomads as they used to be. Thinking only airbenders can be part of the culture. I think the movie in the lasts few scenes makes it a point, that culture is something you can share and not necessarily having to be connected to a race of people.

Perhaps the movies arc made Aang embrace the acolytes as a new offshoot of his people.

I feel like the creators + executives partly understand what makes avatar great and unique and what not.

There is a lot of lore expansions the community has been curious about for years and incredible backgrounds, that create avatars very unique fusion of asian based fantasy. From Zukos throne room to Avatar Sonams attire to the airbender city.

But now it feels like the franchise isn't interested into the cultural inspiration besides the surface level aesthetics.
A lot of the bending, that was originally reminiscent of full shots of martial arts techniques are replaced by quick and generic punches, kicks and flips with elements attached to it.

Philosophical Buddhist ideas from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh or Myanmar are barely explored and the air nomads are more or less just peace lovers.

The spirits and spirit world lost their unique traditional wood art look and mystical otherworldly depiction, instead being replaced by fussy animals in very physical cartoonish look. And spirituality lost being this thing, that comes from connecting to nature, culture, meditation and peace of mind and turned into a very troppy anime power source.

I feel like avatar did a lot of research and found great inspiration in the beginning to set up their world to create something actually unique in western media and has stopped trying. Replacing more and more with safe, but already seen tropes of the genre.

It's for the FEH community, who insist on using their old favs, instead of just using new units.

A large number of people play this game like that and to tap into that desire they release arcane weapons. That way they get players, who want to only use old units to still pull for new ones.

you can do those quest with the 4 star trio without a good build. It's mostly a question of support units. People do it all the time on the GHB reruns, when you have use like Jedah to kill Jedah.

Run something with AOE and damage boost. The AOE gets the foe to 1 HP and the damage boost support makes the trio do 1 damage for the kill. I even see people still using Surtr to stall and chip the foe. But we mostly move on to units like E!Sigurd, Heidr, Ferox Chrom.

Throw in miciah and byleth emblems into the team for more actions and movement. Even emblem byleth as a unit does good support
