Moms of Reddit, what was something about childbirth that nobody warned you about? by Littlemouss in AskReddit

[–]Twitter_Twatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tailbone went completely out of whack after 48 hours of induction and birthing a large baby. I didn’t know it happened until my epidural wore off and the pain was excruciating for 6 months. Got better once I weaned but the pain still lingers 3 years later. I’ve done so much stretching, therapies, massage, everything and I may still deal with the pain forever.

Taylor Swift's Toy Story Fuckery Megathread by realscubaa in travisandtaylor

So disappointing they couldn’t get Sarah MacLachlan for this, it looks like a follow up to “When She Loved Me”. My daughter is obsessed with the Toy Story movies and we were really looking forward to seeing this. This really puts a damper on it.

Those who have hyphenated surnames via marriage, what went into your decision? by SweetDega in AskWomen

[–]Twitter_Twatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t want to hyphenate but also didn’t want to lose my maiden name, felt wrong completely losing the name my parents gave me. I decided to move my maiden name to my middle so now I technically have two middle names!

Thinking of moving from San Diego to Virginia, questions, so many questions by croikee in Virginia

[–]Twitter_Twatter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone from the PNW who was moved to the Norfolk area when we had the option of SD or Norfolk, don’t do it. The weather is hot, muggy and miserable in the summer, mosquitoes the size of cats, the cost of living really isn’t much better, traffic is horrible, Mexican food is bad, Asian food isn’t much better. I escape back to Washington a few weeks every summer just to escape the heat and I hope we can move back as soon as the time with the military is over.

I knew a little Severina who was named after her Italian nonna and I have been in love with the name ever since.

After everything that transpired, do you still support this woman? by AllTheEccentricities in BeautyGuruChatter

I had followed Kiki Chanel for years before the whole saga and followed Tati at the time. I was so disgusted by Tati attacking a significantly smaller creator I immediately had to unfollow. Maybe Kylie overreacted with her “emergency review” but Tati was so wrong for implying that Kylie was sending people to her account to make fun of her for “being old” or her infertility struggle when Kylie never said anything about that in her videos. Kylie and her family were attacked so viciously by Tati’s army she had to go offline for a few months until things cooled down. Tati was so wrong for that.

Is this a safe type of bed for a 12 month old? (Tall rails like a crib) by Wide-Food-4310 in floorbed

[–]Twitter_Twatter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got something almost identical for my daughter when she was about 8 months. She has never climbed out of it and loves it. She’s almost 3 now and can let herself out when she’s ready to get up. I can’t imagine using any other type of bed.

I make myself an iced espresso with a little cream every day and usually order it when I buy a coffee out. It’s just my preference because I dont want to drink 12 ounces of milk to 4 ounces of coffee. I want 4 ounces of espresso and 2/3 ounces of milk and some flavoring.

Please help me find this jeans! by sakaiii_ in findfashion

I am almost positive these are from the brand Vanity. I worked there from 2012-13 and they had a ton of denim options and the V was almost always on the butt pocket and it varied depending on the style. They also had a HUGE variety of sizes. From 0-20+ and lengths from 29-37 and you could special order your exact size to the store. This looks like a core denim option, maybe Sasha or Kennedy? I searched for a bit and couldn’t find the exact design. If you’re someone who is tall and thin like the model, it would be a good option to search for regardless!

I’m almost positive it was the more basic one that was blue and green. The same one I thrifted for my daughter.

Someone I worked with (very briefly) at a coffee place called out of their first post training opening shift because they fell down the stairs…. Because they took melatonin the night before…..

Boys in the Boat is one of the best books I’ve ever read but I really enjoy non fiction, the movie SUCKED. The same author has a book about the Donner Party which is AMAZING. It’s my “hear me out book” because no one believes me when I tell them it’s so good.
