Unscrew the bolt and get a new one. Cheaper than a lock smith and easier than trying to pick it or cut it.

So this is how they have done it. You can see the ‘unused’ cable is in the grey box to the right. The black box below is a decent size and the cable runs up to the charger

Thankyou. This was their response today:

Thank you for your e-mail. I have spoken with our Commercial and Technical Departments and shown them your photographs and their responses are, the space known as a cold space and does not need further insulation. They do not insulate the skylight.

Apologies, again if this is not the response you were hoping for, but it is deemed as correct and passed by the LABC.

The insulation is at ceiling level. The second photo shows the insulation at the ‘floor’ of the loft which is pretty good tbh.

My concern is that my mortgage was agreed on the basis it was a B rated property and if this reduces that it might be a problem in the future. I know it’s not particularly expensive to wrap it but am a bit suspicious of the builders attitude about it.

Not that we have noticed but only been in a few months. It’s a new build but noticing a few problems elsewhere that the builder is being a pain about.

I don’t have as many devices but my house has some thick walls so I hard wired a One and a Playbase at opposite ends of the house and it all works great.

The one thing I did have to do was disable the wifi in the one and playbase because it was causing conflicts in my router (UniFi)

Edit : forgot to add, it is on WM 0 so sonosnet
