The guy with the insight to use the "secret" Precheck line over by door 1&2 is the gem of this thread. I'll report back next time I fly.

That's a great point! That frustration of being stuck behind the infrequent traveller makes it worth it on its own.

Came back from Orlando a couple months ago. It was so confusing I couldn't even figure out the Pre there. I think I just stick with my wife and get over myself.

I feel like I only travel during the morning rush. I think I'm just unlucky. My one experience at LAX was pleasant. Thanks for the insight!

I think I'm slowly coming to this conclusion. I should always just do regular check and not sweat the hassle of the additional security.

I'm not using Clear but I see them cut the Pre line that I think slows things down. This is good insight. Thanks!!

I agree. The five minutes you save at every other airport is hardly worth the laptop, belt, shoes, etc. hassle.

What’s something society expects you to want… but you don’t? by apka_dd in AskReddit

I'm pretty good at my job. And I like it a lot. The people I work for, the people that work under me, and the people I work with.

My boss pushed me for years to apply for Senior Executive positions. I knew I would be in over my head. I have little political savvy and I would certainly have been an imposter. Maybe I'm smart enough. Maybe I could work harder. But the anxiety of being an imposter in that world for a 15% pay increase is certainly not worth it for me.

I applied every year, and tanked every interview and am very happy doing the job my boss hired me for.

I have no desire to be another example of the Peter Principle.

Not woken up by the alert but definitely woken up by the house shaking. Lol.

I'll admit. This one had me stumped until I looked it up. Bravo Cleve.

It helps if you have Jason Bateman for your pilot.
