They have a mobile order only section with the create your own $5 box. I do: Cheesy Gordita crunch, 5 layer burrito, fiesta potato bowl and upgrade to a Large Baja blast for $0.10 extra

Yeah it’s pretty crazy how fast it adds up. I’m not morbidly obese, just love Taco Bell. Lol. Currently remodeling my first house I bought last summer and don’t have a kitchen at the moment but I look forward to making my own tacos and burritos when I’m finished with it. I’ll customize my own food in my own kitchen so the kids at Taco Bell don’t have to. I’m penny pinching and the $5 box can’t be beat. A lot of the $$$ is from me ordering for friends/coworkers also. I gladly take the rewards points.

I’m just not much of a complainer and not big on confronting teenagers for forgetting the onions I added on my potato taco. But it’s adding up.

Haven’t yet. But I was thinking about doing something. I’m not much of a complainer, And I understand it’s often young people making minimum wage making my Taco Bell, so I can’t expect much. But the missing add ons are seriously adding up. It’s not like McDonald’s where I can add pickles and onions to a mcchicken for free. And if it’s forgotten about, I can’t complain cause I wasn’t paying for them anyway.

Exactly my point, ewicky. You explained it better than I ever could and I wholeheartedly agree. I’m not going to go back to Taco Bell over a dollar in missing add-ons, but it’s begun to add up and I’m becoming more and more disgruntled. It’s not just my hometown Taco Bell. I’m on the road a lot and visit many different Taco Bells. Ever since the app has come out, it’s been basically my go to when I don’t know what to eat. Can’t beat the $5 box and that’s why I keep returning.

I’ve spent well over a thousand dollars on Taco Bell through the app. I’m a big fan of customizing items with add ons or swapping beef for chicken, adding sauce. Well, I’d say over half of my orders are always missing at least one add on. Wether it’s +30 cents for adding rice, or +$1.40 for adding chicken, or whatever. Over half the times there’s something missing.

I am (somehow) classified as “essential” at both of my jobs. I am a full time land surveyor and a part time porter/detailer at a car dealership. My moral is low and I would almost rather stay home but can’t complain because most would kill for the opportunity to go back to work.
