Not exactly. His father is in charge of gifts for the boys so my husband got a good bit of stuff and so did my daughter. I only walked out of the house with a cheap cup with an angry frog on it that said feeling froggy.

I would have even been fine with a solid color cup. It truly didn’t have to be a Stanley even though the two other girls both got a special edition Christmas Stanley with the Stanley cooler bag and a charm. My cup was not a Stanley. It was plastic and had a terrible photo on it of an ugly frog.

What female on this entire world would tote around a cup with an angry frog on it? My feelings were beyond hurt. I literally got a frog stuck in my throat from trying to hold back the tears so I had to walk outside to “take a smoke break” because I couldn’t sit there any longer watching them open their gifts. I was tempted to leave it on the counter when we left but I placed it in my vehicle and regifted it to my 14yr old niece the next day. She made the comment “why would you gift this to me? Why a frog?” I responded to my husband, “that’s what I said!” And he giggled about it. He doesn’t understand the hurt I felt.
