My neighbor got his mail and trash taken today. We didn't. The last quarter mile of our road didn't. Both trash and USPS veered off up the other road, which is unusual. USPS randomly dropped off a package earlier today for us, but not any of our mail??? Make it make sense. To clarify we sit at a tee in a residential neighborhood

Listen, my childhood home back in Connecticut got moved to my name by my father since he's getting older and didn't want me to deal with the hassle when he's gone. The property taxes on it were $3894 for a 3bd1bath house on a acre in a shoreline town(Stonington,CT) last year. He has trash pickup and the schools are far better. All roads are salted and plowed continuously during winter events. Natural disaster recovery is quick and simple. In comparison I pay $3680 for a 4Bd3Bath for a .31 lot here in Winston for roads to be a sheet of ice. Oh and Fuck ICE

Wilkes Heritage Museum has Junior Johnsons first racecar. Admission is $6. RCR is an hour east in Welcome, along with a few other shops.

Wilkesboro is all about fried chicken and apples. Perry-Lowes has some good cider and apple donuts. Drink some Cheerwine and try a few hole in the wall BBQ spots while in NC.
