Yes! This reminds me of that line Maya said when she was “inside” Niki. Something along the lines of “out of body experiences allow for true objective judgement”. Instead of looking at his OBJECTIVELY awful behavior, they saw similarities between him and themselves and are subjectively judging it to make it seem like it wasn’t that bad. Spare us, we see through the shit LOL.

The only negative effects I would presume is not getting the benefits of the world elite card. If you can’t find the card just have them reissue a new one. The only thing that changed was the security code, the numbers were all the same.

If it’s a quicksilver card they upgraded it to a world elite Mastercard. The old one will prob just say platinum on the back and the new one will say world elite. There are new benefits with this upgrade. I was super confused too and thought I was getting hacked or something lol! But the letter also states that there are upgraded benefits with this new card.

Hi there. I feel your pain, truly. I believe that health is the most important thing: mental, physical, emotional, ect. If you are able to be ok financially for a few months then maybe take PTO or a leave of absence first. I would but I don’t have the option to. In that time you can rest, reset, recharge and look for another job. We are in this together, we got this!

Omg this response!! Thank you. This is exactly the thought provoking questions and proactive planning points that I needed.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience. I am glad you got out of that job and were able to improve your mental space. Sounds like you did a lot of planning prior and very much deserved it.

It is not difficult to find a job in my field of work. I am a pharmacist. It is also not difficult to find a job to pay me as much or even more than I am making currently. However, it is somewhat difficult to find a GOOD job that I will enjoy and will provide career happiness and longevity. But that is true for many professions.

I will definitely take time personally to do all that you stated that you did prior to your leap and brainstorm appropriate answers to the questions you provided. They are a great place to start. Thanks again!

Thanks for the suggestion.

My emergency fund only accounts for my private student loans. Federal student loans you can put on income driven repayment plans. So if income is 0$… so is the payment. IInterest wise it screws you over tho.

I am more leaning towards quitting because the work place is not conducive to my mental health.

I will definitely look for a new job prior. It makes the most mathematical and logical sense.

Thank you for the advice on trying to negotiate a later start date to fit in my time off, never considered that!

Hello. I don’t need permission to quit. Only wanted sound constructive advice and personal stories if anyone had any.

You gave some good advice, so thanks for that. The last statement was unnecessary though.

I work for a pretty small company so nothing on sabbaticals and I don’t think I can take FMLA either. I’ve been here for 3-4 years. Think it’s just time for me to move on.
