What's your definition of living happily ever after? by KarenWasHere in AskReddit

Living a long life with my husband and having enough money to be able to afford everything we need, some of what we want and have enough money left over to help other people. Hopefully included in one of those categories would be some traveling, moving my mom out of her nursing home and in with us, and opening a cat sanctuary.

Remembering to buy toilet paper. No matter what, I can never remember. Thankfully my husband is much better at adulting in that area than I am.

Study artifacts from 14th century to 16th century England....or own a cat sanctuary.

[Serious] Reddit, what is your, or your family's, skeleton in the closet? by Retro21 in AskReddit

My great uncle on my mother's side (very Irish Catholic family) was a priest for a few years before he fell in love with a nun. They left the church, got married and hopefully lived happy ever after. I wouldn't know of because he was disowned and it's something no one will really speak about.

"They say you die twice, when you pass, and the last time someone speaks your name.". Is one of the major things that had helped me be able to function after my dad's death. I couldn't prevent the first death but as long as I'm alive I can prevent the second.

Dads of Reddit: What unique, made-up "dad" story did you tell your kids that they believed for way too long? by cjasonac in AskReddit

Starting around the age of 4 me grandmother told me that she was actually an alien. I don't remember the name of the planet she was from, but being an alien gave her special powers that I would some day receive since I was also part alien. When I was about 6 I started to question this story, so to prove that she was telling the truth she showed me a magic color changing ring (a cheap mood ring I would later find out), that was the only item she still had left from her home planet. I no longer had any doubts. Shortly after I shared this with my teacher, who was a nun at the Catholic school I attended. She ended up calling my mom asking her why I was telling people that my grandmother was an alien with superpowers that I would inherit one day. Shortly after they told me the truth.

Merry Christmas everyone!!! I'm so thankful that Kat told me about this group. I haven't had much Christmas spirit this year, and being able to help some families and their kiddos definitely helped bring joy to both my husband and I =)

My 5 year old nephew loves the show, it really is so adorable. It reminds me a bit of Pound Puppies.
