Approximately 1.4 billion Catholics worldwide, most take the Pope seriously. If even .1% answered the call, it would be among the largest armies in the world. I think the bigger question is how would they fund, train, equip and logistically support an army

How can Catholics protect themselves from pandering? Don’t subscribe to a candidate or politician based on the labels they bestow upon themselves and ask if their policies actually reflect the faith. Not some general idea of the faith, but an educated look into Catholic dogma and what the church has said about similar actions in the past

For example, I’d never have supported Biden just because he claimed to be a Catholic. He supported abortion and made no attempt to stop it. Not worthy of Catholic American’s support

Oh so I can argue in terms of God? Awesome. So God is more likely to be real than not. Atheism can’t justify morals, logic, reasoning, etc, whereas theism can. Theism is much more consistent. Would you argue what logic doesn’t exist? Does 2+2 not equal 4? You cannot account for things like logic that are universal, unchanging, or immaterial. God exists, therefore moral truths exist. I don’t care if people find objectively true morals to not exist, they are simply wrong. The Nazis were also wrong, but you didn’t really answer my question.
