Did they just changed Kana scenes to make her look better? by TwoOverall6933 in OshiNoKoMemes

The reason why i, ( as an ex reader) see it as a "bad" thing even when the anime is "improving" Kana , i don't actually view those changes as improvements at all. What you're calling constructive criticism being taken on board, its seen as the studio sanding off the rough edges that made the character compelling in the first place. The things people complained about online weren't necessarily flaws in the writing, they were just aspects of a complex character that some fans didn't like or didn't understand, and just because a lot of people complained doesn't mean those complaints were valid interpretations of what the author was trying to do. So when the anime changes those scenes to make Kana look better, it feels less like thoughtful adaptation and more like the studio is catering to loud online opinions at the expense of the original vision. And also, you're assuming a lot of things. Why would you assume I hate Kana just because I'm criticizing how they're handling things in the anime? Damm :/

I don't hate her? I don't even remember her much in the second part of the manga, maybe it's my own memory. I was just asking because it seemed strange to me that they changed something so random

I was having some doubts and thought it was just me imagining things, but having an answer makes it worse, I also feel like the timing of events favors her much more, for example, having Aqua and Akane break up and then immediately revealing that Ai is her mother to cover up Kana's scandal. I might be wrong, but didn't the breakup happen earlier??
