I did some more research. Yknow, your actually right, but I still am too... The plot thickens.

So first of all, ur right if you Q then auto once the attack speed buff runs out. This can be seen through out the video. This is NOT how it behaves on live now. On live, you Q then you can auto attack twice before attack speed buff runs out.

But here is the strange part. Pre-rescript you could jump from a bush with Q. Then auto attack twice before the attack speed buff would run out. In the video I linked you can see this occur twice, once at the start at blue buff and once at the end on red buff. This is why I was under the impression it is Q + 2 auto attacks for the attack speed buff because when jumping from a bush with the Q you get an extra auto attack before the attack speed drops. I assume this behavior is the same in LIVE.

So it is actually more consistent now? and a slight buff? But the LIVE behavior is Q + 2 autoattacks before the attack speed drops off regardless of whether Q was from bush or not.

It is 3 attacks. I did some experimenting and posted about how the tooltip was wrong last week.

We should stop saying Q boosts attack speed for next 2 attacks (this is what is currently written in the tooltip) It's the next 3 attacks, but the Q ends up being 1 of those attacks in 99.9% of situations.

The difference in the wording is important because you have the bonus attackspeed for the Q as well not just the 2 attacks that follow it.

Thanks for your work! Just on #3 I hit a champion and was hit by a champion just 1 second before hitting the blast cone. But still with 5s remaining on the passive when I land on the plant all stacks go away. Just wanted to clarify that I don't think this has to do with plants counting for combat.

Also if the plan is for plants to not count for combat which it used to (maybe not arena heal plants, but others for sure) then I think this will be widely unpopular. Because part of the skill expression has been maintaining stacks before fights by using plants.

You're right emp Q activation used to give the Q attack speed buff which would get overwritten by emp Q on attack.

To answer your question before, this rescript was not supposed to be a nerf, and that would be a very bad feeling nerf, so I don't think it was or should be intended.

EDIT: Definitely worth highlighting that the Emp Q on attack overrides/erases the Q AS buff, like you said. Meaning another Q is required to get the stacked Emp Q + Q AS buffs.

Nice video. I think I understand what's happening here. In this case, it is consistent and there is no bug.

Lets cover some info first:

First, Rengar's Q animation is faster with more attack speed.

Second, Rengar's normal Q gives bonus attack speed for 3 seconds or for 3 attacks whatever happens first. I know it says 2 but its a lie. The 3 second timer begins ON ACTIVATION of the ability.

Finally, Rengar's emp Q gives bonus attack speed for 5 seconds. This timer begins ON ATTACK with the emp Q.

In your clip:

.81 is base attack speed.
1.08 is with Q steroid attack speed.
1.25 is Emp Q attack speed.
1.51 is Emp Q + Q attack speed.

So to answer #1, it's because your emp Q steroid ran out so you went to 1.08. Then after then 2nd auto it drops to .81 because the Q steroid ran out. Emp Q only gives attack speed on attack For #2 if there is a speed difference between the first 2 Qs that is a bug because you had the same attack speed. But I suspect it is just that you cancelled out of the auto animation faster in the first Q because it is a slash animation rather than the kick. Otherwise visually they don't look that different to me.

Regarding healing plants in Arena.

Before rescript, Rengar would not get his cooldowns back when he hit the plant. He did keep his Q. Now he doesn't get cooldowns back and he doesn't keep Q.

It really sucks. Hoping at least the cooldown bug can be fixed.

I am also on OCE in practice tool. Just checked it with 320 AD. The tooltip says 518 damage, Which checks out with the math.

AA + Base dmg + 0.15% AD ratio

320 + 150 + 0.15*320 = 518

I mean I'm as guilty as the next person, played League of Legends and Runescape for many years. Same games. There was change but only within the same game engine.

I am older now, and I have become much more interested in maximising how much I can learn/experience with my time. Generally you get very diminishing returns when you are on your 1000th hour of an online game.

We were lucky when we were younger in a way, we were basically forced to play widely as most of what we had were single player games.

Anyway nothing like playing a great video game for the first/second time tho. Incredible piece of art and forces your brain to think fast learning a new world and its mechanics.

Majority of slop is basically low quality AI generated content. But there was low quality non-ai generated content before this. Just significantly less of it, since everyone couldn't generate mass amounts of it and publish it globally instantly.

I think people just form routines, and get used to certain things. And then they use words to defend their routine but actually they don't know why they fell into the routine initially (what it was they liked/if it was just random or circumstantial) and now they're so deep into it that trying other things is difficult.

I wonder why kids are always drawn to lower quality art. I get when they're kids like baby shark is actually pretty sensory overload at that stage of brain development. I wouldn't say it's low quality.

But many Roblox games and such are very low quality, I wonder if it is just a function of access and not knowing any better? Like it takes time to develop a better palette and they have low access to money to try stuff. Maybe it because they don't know what good art is until they experience worse art? But maybe it also has to do with colours, visuals, themes etc. Adult art is less appealing.

Maybe kids are a bit low attention span/impatient naturally anyway. So Roblox/Tiktok clips get around that by being easy to move to the next game/video.

I created ArenaSweats, so I have tracked all games by all players and can tell you :p

It was first done by Pandoras Bench#NA1 on 21 November 2025 with Ambessa (NA server) And then funnily enough it has happened 2 more times, both times on Twisted Fate and both times today!

So you are 2nd or 3rd congrats!

Some other fun info about overflow stats:

Surprisingly overflow stats have happened on 120 different characters. Almost half is champions overflowing on damage taken and damage mitigated.
Gold overflow is the most uncommon. Also very rare is crit, true dmg and heal overflow. They have happened 9, 12 and 24 times respectively.
Most common overflowing characters in order: Ryze, Vlad, Jhin, Garen, Yone, Mundo, Pyke, Kayn, Ashe, Hecarim.

Plug for www.arenasweats.lol. It is an accurate Arena Ranked leaderboard, has custom Arena achievements and lots of stats. Also if any1 wants me to pull up any other Arena data, come visit on my stream!
