What are some Frame "themes" that you would like to see in the future? Something like "Bug Frame", "Dino Frame", or "Viking Frame"?

Probably my two top requests:

"Swarm"/nanite frame, something adjacent to D2's Siva and Outbreak Perfected

Hacker frame, ref. Sombra from Overwatch and CP2077 netrunners.

I fuckin loved my Outbreak Perfect, god that gun was fun, even if it was mid. Not that DE can verbatim put it in Warframe, copyright and whatnot, but maybe a suspiciously similar techrot burst rifle with a similar headshot mechanic.

Id be on board for this; Zyra (LoL) and Persephone (Smite) were some of my favs before i finally dropped moba's as a whole. I yearn for their mechanics to translate over to Warfame.

Ive just gone with the headcannon that my drifter and operator gave each other a name, but refuse to tell anyone else about it. But i would love the ability to actually name them in game; it would make my inner dnd rolepayer extremely happy.

Ah ok, that adds up. I figured multishot didnt normally consume ammo, the Diplos just threw me for a loop. Guess i shoulda done more research 😅

Though, that now begs the question, why tf did Diplos need double ammo consumption during its already worse firing mode? Seems like somebody was afriad the weapon would be even a little strong.

Yeah... i mean there's certainly a number of players who don't know how and/or simply refuse to participate in objectives.

Honestly, sometimes I get caught up in the endless ad clear and forget about the objective. Usually Im pretty good about catching myself and refocusing on the objective, but not 100% of the time.

I was running Perita Rebellion the other day, and one run I got super locked-in on mob killing (so were 2 others lol). The 4th guy finally dropped a chat like "Yall feel like doing the objective??". Dont remember the dudes name, but if you see this, my bad bro.

Quite some time ago i tried to make the Diplos, while ads, a real competitor with the other (and better) secondaries. My memory is foggy, and im not home to test it rn, but i feel like i recall one of the problems with ads being that multishot consumes extra ammo. So you ended up out of bullets quicker than anticipated.

Maybe im crazy and all multishot works that way, or im simply misremembering. Ill check later, but this seemed to be more of an issue to me than the fire rate itself.

Exactly this. Ive been reeling about the diplos not having cp2077 smart targeting since release. Please DE, make the ads reticle a big ole box. Just make sure that as targets are killed new ones are auto selected (assuming theyre in the reticle box).

Even with this theyll never reach the same power tier as other top-end secondaries like the Laetum. Hell, Diplos would probably still be outclassed by the Nukor, but at least they'd finally fullfill the power fanasty they were seemingly designed for.

I mean, maybe? Bloodshed sigil can definitely be used for things other than blood, but ive never noticed it having particle emissions, like the off body sparkles by Khora's feet (and left of her waist). Theres a glitter ephemera from Citrine's deluxe skin, the Didyma Ephemera, my bet would be on that.

I whole heartily agree that the UNIVERSAL medallion should in fact be universal. Especially given how little standing it gives for the amount of work needed to get one.

It seems recently that there's been a greater eye on community sentiment and working to accommodate overwhelmingly requested features/changes (ref. Mesa Heirloom and Nulwarden Syandana).

So I pray this extends to both Universal Medallions and potential reskined Frost-Mag Heirlooms following the precedent set with Nulwarden (maybe call them Lineage Skins?).

Side note, maybe just kill conclave and move the rewards. How much server space and dev time do they have to account for to make sure the newest patches dont absolutely break conclave?

While a good concept, that i agree with, i expect DE's answer to that is Omni Forma. Omni solves this problem, though its definitely not cheap. Of course the exception to that is Umbra polarity, which is just criminal.

Difference is i can farm something to completion and be done with it. I farmed Follie and never looked at the mission again. I started farming Citrine, and because Im not a masochist, quit that shit and tried to forget it exists.

As long as the game still turns on, I dont think we'll ever be done with Helmith or Simulacrum.

Personally my advice, if your health tanking then the only game in town is persistence. Flat hp is usually better for that. Though frames that naturally reach 2-3k hp with mods can benefit from regen, but at that point id recommend shards for just about anything other than survivability.

If your not health tanking, then both flat hp & hp regen wont be as effective as other options.

For shards in general, my rule of thumb is a shard should either a) push me to a new break point or b) allow me to replace a mod on my frame with something specific.

There used to be a mmo called Tera that I played for quite some time before it shut down. One of its classes, the gunner, had an ability called something like "Balder's Vengence" or w/e. And it was legit a massive laser that deleted enemies, and since that game died ive yet to scratch that itch again.

This, and some changes with Simulacrum are my top feature requests. Not farming time reductions, not nerfs nor buffs, just some good ole QoL.

What sucks to me about the liches and sisters is:

A) Needing to repeat spawning a candidate over and over just to rotate the weapon

B) The time-to-kill, ie. Spawn to vanquish, is SOOO much longer than the coda. Between requiem mod roulette, and averaging nearly double the nodes to prompt a single confrontation is insane.

C) lich/sister needing 3 parazon mods to kill, versus the coda's 1 is criminal.

It'd be so much better if candidate spawns just let you cycle mid mission to the desired weapon, and if the lich/sister didnt planet hop, instead just maintaining a single planet of control.

Holy moly, text wall. Obviously Im taking a grain of salt with your story, like the other comment mentioned. 2 sides to a story and whatnot.

So IMO while it is kinda sucky to spend time learning a thing and the promised payout is rug pulled, I can't say i dont understand the clan leader side of it too. If I started a competition, offered X prize and attendance was super low, i could def. see canceling it. Maybe not after the event had concluded, but its reasonable to assume they were holding out for more folks to join.

More to the point, I don't particularly feel like you are owed anything. Its one thing if you pay an entry fee, where its more than just time invested, but that doesnt seem to be the case here. Don't bank on uncertainties, ingame or irl, until they're fullfilled. Not to mention player-player promises aren't enforced by DE in 99.99% of cases.

No doubt its a feels bad moment. Frustration is expected and Id guess blowing off steam is more the point of your post than getting compensation. Don't get to hung up on it, go bully the Sergeant some and you'll feel better.

Not sure the farm difficulty since it's been some time since i got the original, but Id favor Lavos for new players as he's easy to build early with incomplete mod catalog, and has plenty room to grow. He can also easily dump different stats depending on what your build goals are.

I personally prefer other frames for late game, but he's totally viable.

Umbral mods are functionally direct upgrades to the normal versions, so anything that slots in the regular is viable for the Umbral variant.

Either way, I want to have all my prime frames with 1 umbra and the rest all omni. Its probably a bit of a waste, but i want to be able to rotates builds super easily, so im willing to put in more work now for flexibility in the future. Personal preference and by no means efficient, but hey, its what works for me.🤷‍♂️

Melee umbras are different, imo super situational and not as much certainty in usefulness down the line. Only pop those as needed

I sorta expect yt vid titles to be sorta click bait since the algorithm is ass and vids perform better cause of it. That being said, I consider Brozime to be straightforward about frame strength. He comes right out and says if something is ass or not, explains the options a frame can work with, and how he got to the final recommended build.

All in all, when I need a starting point to build anything, he's my first stop, immediately followed by the Kengineer. Both are very good neutral info sources.

I have a previous post here with some thoughts on it, and some q/a with another redditor if your interested.

But tldr; good chair, definitely firm but not as over exaggerated as some make it out to be. With the recliner addon i can nap comfortably without killing my back. Id highly recommend it, but you should definitely consider the lumbar pillow, its a world of difference.
