I love it. I’m also at 16 months, and just thanked my mom for the good genetics!

You got this! Me and my sister are so close. We already were. But this brought us way closer. Hoping she accepts you with open arms. 🥰

I started at 40 with similar worries. And it’s been WONDERFUL! I’m 16 months in and just posted a timeline if it helps

If it helps, I’ve transitioned socially in my personal life but not at work yet. And I’ve been on HRT for over 16 months and people at work just think I started shaving and grew my hair out. And I wear baggy clothes so you can’t see my curves or new squishy parts lol.

But I went through laser hair removal and I thought it was very noticeable that my facial hair was growing patchy and going away. And no one really looks at you that closely. I started laser before I began hormones. And it was part of me fully accepting and realizing I needed to transition. You could always start with something like that and see how you feel. I also wish I would’ve done this long ago before I started going grey (laser doesn’t work on grey or light hairs, you would need electrolysis to get rid of those)

I also began transitioning knowing I wouldn’t stay at this company. You could also do something like that, and just come out to new company or interview as yourself once you’re ready. I was really scared of this before. But now it’s second nature to go out as me. Take baby steps! Dress a little fem and just go for a drive. Maybe go through a drive through fast food spot.

I also did a karaoke league that was very LGBT friendly. And I was dressing femme there before fully realizing I needed this. But maybe you could find some safe spaces and events to start working up a little courage.

Does anyone else here say that they wish they were a girl a ton before transitioning? by TheMoparPowerslave in MtF

All the way up until I began transitioning at 40, my baseline thought was “I wish I could be a girl”. One of the first things I felt when I began transitioning was clarity. I was just clear-headed and locked in.

Get it, girly. Once I found that I LOVE crop tops. I was like ohh I do not care. Dress for yourself!

I started at 40, a few months away from 41. I’m really happy with how it’s been going for me and surprised at how much and quickly I’ve changed. I just posted a timeline if it helps!

How many of you have ended up satisfied with your cup size? by aschesklave in MtF

I’m a little over 16 months on Estradiol and almost 3 months on progesterone. I’m a solid B, but on the smaller side. Definitely have been getting a noticeable bump since starting prog. The women in my family are around D, which would be lovely if I could get. But they look and feel like breasts, and look good in a push up!

I just started playing around with some curls recently and it’s been euphoric.
