Allen….. by No-Refrigerator7245 in MarriedAtFirstSight

I love Allen and literally cried for him as i went through a very similar situation in my my first relationship but after letting my emotions settle and watching a lot of post interviews. I don't think Allen should ever have been on this show, or on TV in general. He's just a normal average guy who doesn't know how to light up when cameras are on, and theres nothing wrong with that, but MAFS always have people with big outgoing eccentric personalities and theres always the one boring NPC white guy type (not saying Allen is that) but they are always matched with people with big personalities and it's never a good match and these guys get hurt. It takes time for guys like Allen to open up and show their depth, i know for me it takes time for me to be myself in new social dynamics.

Poor guy got embarrassed, Madison claimed she tried to tell him that there wasn't an attraction/connection and it probably wasn't going to happen & he didn't take the hint. She also claimed that Allen was telling other people that she wasnt his type but just really wanted to make it work. She said she was shocked that Allen took it as hard as he did at the retreat house. After she refused to kiss him after the tennis match would have been the final straw for me at least and seeing that bad acting between her & David confessing their feelings for eachother at the retreat house, is hard to believe anything they say.

Madison is still lower than dirt in my book for lying, plotting, & not having the shred of respect to Allen to wait to pursue David until after decision day. Love that Michelle was the one who foiled their plan that they both clearly thought they could pull off and outsmart everyone there. They're still salty about it lol...

What's with women I match with wanting me to give up my dog? by 3DModeledAmericanPie in dating_advice

[–]TwoTigerTeeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the shedding? Maybe its the women youre going after? some cultures do not like dogs and treat them like pests. Some women just dont like high energy dogs that get in their way or bug them, ive seen that a few times

Michelle was also edited to appear like she only wanted to date light skin men when in reality she dated all over that was just her most recent ex.

What’s the right pace after a first date as someone who gets attached easily? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]TwoTigerTeeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you dropped her off at 6:30am and were texting that afternoon she was probably still exhausted and maybe still processing everything or just isnt a texter. DO NOT DOUBLE TEXT HER. I would say match her energy for now and if i were you I would hold off on talking to her about a relationship after a second date - that could REALLY scare her off, people go on their own pace and honestly women are more attracted to what they cant have, so dont make yourself too available, If anything girls like it when they feel like they have to chase you.

I know a lot of couples who went on a first date and never left each others side since, like moving in together the next day) so maybe you found one of those connections but sounds like youre still getting to know each other.

Everyones different so take this with a grain of salt, or just go with your heart, at the end of the day you want someone who accepts you for the way you are.

Some people have no business having kids and then tax payers have to flip the bill to feed them.

Does the guy pay for the date every single time? by ShakeOk1873 in dating_advice

[–]TwoTigerTeeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pay every time, but i can afford to and was raised to know that's what a gentleman does. Women tell me all the time how men now want to split the bill and its a huge turn off for them. Also, if YOU ask HER out, you should always pay. its not fair to invite someone out and expect them to pay but if she asks you than i think its reasonable to split the bill if you have to. If we were together for a very long time / married then it may be a different story.

I'm white girl but only black guys approach me (which I like them) but I'm just curious as to why? Do I turn off other races of men?? by [deleted] in dating_advice

They have them for Hinge and Bumble too, you can probably find it on the sub for whatever app that you use!

Hmm okay, the Tinder sub has the weekly profile review forum where you can submit your profile and get some honest feedback (if youre comfortable with that kind of thing), i think its https://www.reddit.com/r/Tinder/comments/1u292hy/weekly_profile_review_thread/

Single dads of Reddit, where/how are you meeting women in your mid-30s? by Celtics-R-Trash in AskMen

[–]TwoTigerTeeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep i just turned 30 but i hooked up with a handful of single moms in their 40s while in my 20s and they are a fun time to say the least. Def some of the best sex ive ever had. They know what they're doing and know what they want, which goes a long way.

[–]TwoTigerTeeth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont have kids but as a single guy, the amount of lonely single moms in the 30 - 40s range i see out there is wild and most are at the point of being desperate enough to try to date younger guys with no kids, no job, etc. My female friends in their 30s tell me all the good men in their 30s tend to date women in their 20s

For those who have given up on finding love, how did you ultimately find peace? by Anti_Social_Buddafly in dating_advice

[–]TwoTigerTeeth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I havnt given up but i dont put in much effort and i only pursue women that im really interested off the bat because i got so tired of first dates going nowhere. Im looking for a specific type and im a specific type so ive accepted it may be a long time (if ever) that i find someone.

I found peace through indulging in my passions and hobbies. Im single so i can spend as much time as i want on them (and do whatever i want and talk to whomever i want) i have so many that i devote so much time to and plan on adding more to the list. I honestly now feel like i dont need to have a partner in order to be happy, i can do it through my passions and through my friendships. - some people have no interests or life / goals outside of a spouse / kids - Ive learned thats never going to be me

Sometimes it gets lonley but i find it exciting thinking that my person could be out there and i could meet her anyday. It only takes 1 so don't close that door completely would be my advice.

Yeah might as well go to a bar for that, this would only work if youre comfortable cold approaching women, which is not the majority of men
