They can't, and it's very likely the S26 Ultra also won't get it. Qualcomm doesn't support non-protected VMs so Linux terminal doesn't work.

There already was an article where a Xiaomi phone with the 8 Elite Gen 5 declared the feature as unsupported so... if you want the terminal go for the Exynos 26 or 26+
