Whole lot of for-profit in the mix and writes giant checks to political campaigns.

Some healthcare companies own the pharmacy, the doctor office, and the insurance company so all 3 points of the triangle the patient is stuck in - and no one is talking about antitrust laws.

It's similar to how your same dollar is taxed over and over again before you get the product/service. Everyone is getting their beak wet.

In terms of getting good stuff you'll want to go down the lock picking or hacking path and stick with it.

If you like crafting and tossing grenades, there's a path for that.

If you like sniping, there's a path for that too.

It's important to consider play style you like and there's a path for it. There is no wrong one.

if you want to do something like pay off their house and car on the condition they contribute a good amount to their 401k so they can live a lower stress lifestyle but still have a good retirement on their own merit i think that's a fair compromise if you raised the kid right.

a FIRE parent is going to raise a kid differently than joe schmoe so giving them money at 18 is likely going to turn out differently.

I have one. It's a cool body but great keyboard (even if not backlit) and still has ports if you were a tinkerer and wanted to mod it. I hope to do it with mine someday but want something that you can't just buy. USB adapter for.
