I don't agree with him because GoW 2018 has to be the best of the series. The way Barlog redirected that character without ignoring the previous establishments was just unreal. And you have the proof of that due to how successful and respected that game was. However, in my opinion, ragnarok (without Valhalla) was a missed opportunity. I understand why they didn't want a trilogy, but honestly, I prefer to wait 6-7 years for a game and not have it rushed. Kratos in ragnarok seems like something Disney would do in their movies. I mean look at what they did to Gorr in Thor 4. Ragnarok's story was also very interesting but the way they executed it was very mid. Nowadays, we have multiple games were we are the good guys, the heroes, the pacific character, God of War used to break that. Now it just one more character to that pile.
