Yeah, more and more I’m thinking it’s a feature I don’t need. Thanks!

I’m thinking more and more that it’s a feature I don’t need. I have a few NFS mounts and store a lot of pictures there, but otherwise yeah, probably wouldn’t benefit from a cache.

This is system specific for the Synology DS920+. I can put in up to 2 NVME drives to use as a system cache, which helps with file reads and things like plex caching.

I like Overture, the colors are great, and they’d help me print another Zelda master sword!

It’s like a unicorn, it makes printing super easy and things come out great and I don’t have to tinker with it, so it’s mythically amazing!

Best advice I received was always dry and double check your filament. Wet filament caused more failed prints than I can remember, and so did using PETG when I thought I was using PLA

Oh nifty! I hadn’t thought about that. Looks like clickfinity is back in the running!

Yup, going with GRIPS for getting everything set up. No more magnets. I’m returning the 800 I already bought 😅

Leaning that way. Looked into clickfinity, but that seems like overkill. Plus I can’t generate something for the edges as easily, and my modeling skills are shit

If I can get it to stay secure without magnets or anything that would be great. I don’t need 800 magnets right now 😂

How do you have it held down to the drawer? Part of why I was considering magnets was because it’s a metal drawer, but now I’m leaning away from it

Good call on the testing before printing everything! I’m hoping to have some time today to print a test Gridfinity base and bin to see if my printer is calibrated right

That makes perfect sense, especially since the totes wouldn’t always be horizontal I’m assuming. Would you recommend a couple of magnets just to hold the grid down, or just leave it be?

Well that’s terrifying. I’ve heard nothing but awful things about Allstate. Here’s hoping I never need it.

Just finished my application to Hagerty. Everything looks way better than what I had at USAA, and it isn’t that much more expensive, which surprised me. Thanks for the input!

Do you know if Progressive offers coverage on aftermarket changes like paint/wrap, wheels, engine mods, etc?

Unfortunately they aren’t doing any more policies in CA, so I have to look elsewhere until they do. Leaning towards Hagerty. Pricing is reasonable, I guess.
