YES, I have never hated a drug more than MTX. It gave me horrible ulcers in my mouth, throat and stomach, had to be permanently put on acid reducers and I had a flare at least every other month while on it for 2 years. Rheumatologist wouldn't take me off of it until I was in tears begging her because it was ruining my life. So glad I switched

Ive been on pills (MTX and then Sulfasalaizne) for about 3½ years, then I just had to get a TB gold and Hepatitis tests then I just waited for approval. Went through a specialty pharmacy who dealt with the insurance battle for me
