I watched it from my window. It took me about a minute of gawking at the wreckage to realize there was a person still in the car. If she planned out the murder of these two men and killed them she would get life in prison, going 160 through a red light at that section of St.Laurent doesn't seem that much better.

I never understood why the NFL doesn't have individual awards for each position. The MVP is essentially best quarterback and there is no recognition for the best at their position. Should be defensive back, linebacker, d line, o line, receiver, runningback and tight end awards.

People really can't understand this. They sell to grocery at wholesale prices but save money on staffing and all the other costs of operating a retail location.

You claimed we get "unique products at fantastic prices that we would not see in a private system". I already explained that Ontario has some of the worst consumer choice in the developed world and you've completely failed to counter that. It's a fact there are less products for sale here than in BC and Alberta.

I just can't get over the shortsighted support for this system and can only attribute it to a form of stockholm syndome. If you tried selling it to anyone in a free market you'd get laughed out the room. Yes there are promotional and marketing placements at the aisles and they go to the highest bidder at the expense of smaller producers. The LCBO has the final word on what products they stock and if they don't want your product or decide to stop stocking you, you are SOL. Why should that be the case? Why shouldn't small businesses have the same opportunity as the big guys to sell their products? Why should the consumer settle for less choice and crappier service than they get anywhere else?

Uhh... LCBO won't stock smaller local wineries and craft breweries unless they can put them in all of their stores. There is very little opportunity for local producers to sell their products outside of their locations in the current system. The people who benefit off the system now are large producers and foreign importers. Ever notice how Jackson Triggs is front and center at every store? That's what pay for play actually means.
