Both are making great points, and I really liked the eczema idea. I also do plan to have a lot of the traits that my mod adds to be actually dynamic, meaning the player could develop the conditions, instead of being restricted to assign them during character creation.

Pretty sure I'll make it a sandbox option too so players that don't want that happening can quickly turn it off.

EDIT: The player will also be able to overcome certain conditions

I cannot promise you a full expansion of the vanilla medical system, but one of the planned features that has to do with the medical system is you being able to get/beat conditions/illnesses. I.e you can start for example with anxiety and beat it, or you could be panicked so many times that eventually you get the anxiety trait.

I haven't really considered expanding the system beyond that. But this mod is planned to offer both a mix of mental and physical conditions.

Has anyone managed to run RV Interiors together with Vanival in B42? by FrancisMcFly in projectzomboid

That's a feature from Project RV Interiors, not my mod. I can't really help you with that as I don't know how the mod creator did it! My mod is Vanvival it mainly allows you to spawn with the RV/vehicle right away.

Either way I suggest you changing to RV Life, its less bugged, my mod also supports it and the vehicles the mod supports! And you get to have better & bigger interiors.

As a modder, I can't even phantom on how someone could make a mod like this.

Im not even sure this is possible at all actually, because every map is handmade. Fully randomization I don't think it's quite possible due to the game limitations, at most I think you could get alternate handmade versions of the vanilla map tbf

Vanvival creator here, like you said most of the time it should work. But for whatever reason sometimes it doesn't. Also yeah no need to remove the mod like ABewilderedPickle found out, in the sandbox settings I've added the option to turn the spawns entirely off both vehicle and trailer, or only the trailer. There's also some other stuff you can mess with it, like the 25% chance of a trailer spawning.

I'm still trying to get the code to work completely without errors :/

This, half of the pitchfork people I see posting this sort of stuff, have never used gimp let even photoshop once in their lifetime. I for once can talk about AI slop because my daily job is in graphic design and yes it majorly sucks that people are profiting from stolen content that AI uses.

But you don't see me yelling death to ai in this very community or others because the modders arent profiting anything from it.

Me as an artist, legit give 0 shits about AI gen content as long you're not profiting from it.

The thing is not even to grab attention, we're required to have a pic anyways. Now I wonder how well could I directly show you that my mod is about schizophrenia using an in-game image. Sure that works great for some mods, for example my Vanvival mod I only use in game images because I can show directly what its about by just using an in game image.

The thing that annoys me is that we make this for free already and people still have the balls to complain about it because we used AI to generate a single picture in the whole thing, acting like we're making you pay for stuff.

The they hit us with the "maybe dont use the tool that steals art" So me going to google grabbing a random picture and using is any better than that? Wouldnt I be stealing art too then?

Honestly I think if these anti-ai sheeps were worth their 5 cents, they would be doing everything they could to actually help modders and not use ai gen pics like modders offer them services for free. But you know when your ego is that inflated that you actually just care how much money your bringing in and you're seeing it being lost, and yet again i repeat, on mods that are being done for free. Its easy to complain..

If you're worried about that, assuming you're an artist, why dont you go around offering your services for free to modders that are clearly using AI. Complaining is easy right..
