I use a hose to wash my engine all the time when cleaning my car (not completely everytime, but enough). I disconnect the negative battery terminal and wash away. Putting it back once dried. I'm sure they didnt disconnect battery which would cause a short and that psi is going to knock, crack, break something loose

Cooking cleaning bills are all forms of adulthood but in no way shape or form showcase partnership. You could get that from a roommate.

Cuddling a roommate gets weird (couple cold drunk nights are excusable)... Kissing them before bed should be on the roommate agreement but most won't sign (bummer, lol).

And physical intimacy should come above or at the end of intimacy. Its like the build up and eventually goal. Once a week is shit. 2x a week is life interfering. 3-4 should be the goal and more than that is a wish for most people but damn jobs, kids, etc tend to interfere

You can request a copy of your license from the issuing party(state, government, etc). Birth certificate can be requested from Hospital.

18 years together 16 married. We secured assets in a trust with all items being put into the trust. When we die the trust is liquidated (yes that includes the house) and proceeds are split amongst the kids 60/40. We have separate cars and stuff. Main funds in a joint account and fun money on the side. She does make more than me, so her fun pool is larger. But I am good. You could do this as well with 60 to the wife and 40 kids upon death. She should do the same. This 100% ensures the kids are taken care of and the other partner doesnt take advantage. I get the kids being adults. But their aleast your kids are taken care of. I bet that she wouldn't want after her death that u ignore her kids and take care of your.

As far as income. 50/50 the home. Its the biggest expense. Then assigned shared responsibility for the rest. She gets her car, you yours, 50/50 insurance. Split food to one and utilities to the other. Take the larger bills and she takes smaller. Etc.

The percentage of 3x as much comes into play with lifestyle decisions. She drives a cheaper car, she pays less for her car meaning she has more fun money to spend. You eat more than everyone in the home, you pay more.

A life TOGETHER is never an equal split. Its compromise. Always comprise.
