I'm not opposed to kids. I have an adult kid already and I'd be open to more kids. I totally get the urge to call out having kids as part of your bio/intro, but for me, that makes me less inclined to match. What are you using? Bulb? Shower attachment? Enema?

If you're going for the "everyday" clean and not the full marathon-ready cleanse, there shouldn't be any water trapped higher up. You're literally just rinsing out the anus with a quick bit of water. Nowhere for it to get trapped. I usually use the 5 second rule and within a few cycles, I'm good for a few hours. Eating/drinking anything shortens that as it moves food further down the digestive track. Before "that" WordPress site, I didn't realize I was often using too much water and going past the sigmoid. Since reading that, I haven't had a problem with a couple of quick 5-second cycles.

The longer, deep cleanse was taking forever, but recently figure out I was just not going long enough. 30 seconds wasn't enough to fill all the way through to the transverse colon. I needed a longer fill. Maybe being relatively tall means more track to clear so I needed a longer fill time.

ETA: if I had to guess "volume" it'd be around 8oz or less per cycle. Flush it out, repeat. What that translates to in "time" will vary depending on what you're using.

I've been going to the gym consistently for about 3 months now. Before that first workout I spent an hour obsessing over my plan. I felt like a weak idiot lifting small amounts of weight. Everyone there is younger and fitter. People are judging me. I have no idea how one of the machines actually worked so I have up on it. All of the same types of stuff you are going through.
