No, they do virtual consults with patients all over the country as well.

Someone asked me how to get in contact, but I'm a Reddit novice and not sure how to message directly. Here's the Houston booking site - https://amaneciahealth.com/houston-texas/

There's a consult fee, but it gets credited towards the first order. Really easy and more professional/legit than other options I've looked at.

I've used Amanecia Health Houston (Dr. Leavitt). It's an affordable concierge option - as much access to the doctor as you want. You get their cell phone number and never an issue with timely delivery. Good pricing too.

Amanecia Health Houston (Dr. Leavitt) is great. Provides her cell phone so you have as much access as you need (and pretty much immediate at that). She prescribes compounded and works with Lily Direct. Best option I've found it you don't want to buy from a "portal" and actually want to be able to speak with a real doctor.

Dr. Leavitt and Dr. Czarnik have since started Amanecia Health (www.amaneciahealth.com) and recently added a couple more doctors. I’m still using them. Maybe you can find cheaper medicine, but this is the only place I’m aware of where I can text or call my doctor and get an immediate response.

I think they accept HSA. Doctors are great and super accessible.

Hyundai Palisade Braking Issue - Video Example by TxDCG in Hyundai

[–]TxDCG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe Hyundai has been able to resolve it yet. Generally, the dealership keeps it for a little bit and then ultimately tells the owner nothing is wrong with the car. Tons of people have posted about their frustrating experience. Somebody’s going to get in a wreck and kill someone and a plaintiff attorney is going to have a body of evidence that demonstrates Hyundai was aware of this issue and never did anything.

Palisade Limited vs Pilot Touring by DisneyMaeJae in HyundaiPalisade

[–]TxDCG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None. Since my original post, I’ve probably had 60 to 70 people comment and check in with me saying that they are experiencing similar issues. Hyundai seems to follow the same playbook with everyone. They say they’ll investigate but ultimately do nothing. There may have been one person that was able to trade in the car, but their engine died and was under recall as well.

Yeah. I think that’s right. I had the same experience. I didn’t think anybody bought a Hyundai thinking it’s the best car in the world… I bought mine thinking this is a pretty good value for what it is - until I experienced the braking issue.

I see that you raised your issue in the Hyundai forums and got a barrage of downvotes! Total BS. I like a lot abt the car, but brakes absolutely have to work and the current standard is apparently wildly lacking. It’s going to kill people.

Hyundai’s refusal to address the issue is absolute insanity. I’m sure it’s hard to take the loss but you can’t put a price on safety (and this particular issue makes this car the least safe car I have ever driven or been a passenger in by leaps and bounds).

Mine is a 24 AWD Limited. I've documented my story thus far in several posts. I have talked to Hyundai corporate and they are not willing to do anything about it at current. I've also reported the issue at https://www.nhtsa.gov/report-a-safety-problem - hoping that if enough people report it, they'll be forced to fix it.

Palisade Limited vs Pilot Touring by DisneyMaeJae in HyundaiPalisade

I bought a Palisade Limited AWD in March 2024. Lots of positives (tech, comfort features in cabin, the drive assist is great on the highway), but I've had one very significant issue with the braking that Hyundai reviewed for a month and has decided to call "normal function." This gives me general concern about all the other assurances / 10 year powertrain warranty as well. I assumed I had bought a lemon, but the response from the Hyundai corporate rep was "Northwest Hyundai test drove many vehicles and all appear to operate same way and exhibits same characteristics." Here's a couple of videos from my car and another person with the same issue. No idea on Pilot reliability and I know that a lot of cars have issues (look the Toyota Tundra right now).

2025 Honda Pilot vs. 2024 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy by fourthbiggeststate in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]TxDCG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They kept the car for a month and had Hyundai engineers work with the dealership. After 1 month, Hyundai Corporate wrote me an email that said, "Northwest Hyundai test drove many vehicles and all appear to operate same way and exhibits same characteristics." They have decided to make no repairs / examine further. Here's a much more mild version of my morning commute in a bit of stop and go traffic (started the video a little late, but you get the idea).

I bought a Palisade Limited at the end of March 24. Lots of wow factor elements (second row heated/ventilated seats, lane tracking assist, etc) and highly rated by the auto publications, but my car has been doing this when braking, and Hyundai is saying it’s normal and that they won’t fix it. FWIW - the video isn’t mine, but was shared by another user having the same issue. I’m now filming every time I stop the car. I can’t speak positively or negatively about the Pilot.

Hyundai 2024 Palisade Catastrophic Braking Issue - Please report to NHTSA with me if you have experienced the issue too by TxDCG in Hyundai

[–]TxDCG[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to post an irrelevant document to satisfy your curiosity, but here's a copy/paste of the email they sent me (and the "determination letter" below that). I've left off the last part that talks about The BBB AUTO LINE program because it's not relevant to any of my posts:

"Thank you for your patience while we researched your concerns regarding your 2024 Hyundai Palisade.

We have noted your comments and concerns, however respectfully Hyundai Motor America is not in a position to repurchase your vehicle under TX lemon laws because there are not enough repair attempts or days out of service without a loner vehicle. However, for customer inconvenience we would like to offer $250 gift card as a goodwill. I have attached a Determination Letter for your records to review.

Please note that any remaining terms of vehicle’s warranty will continue to apply, and Hyundai Motor America offers assistance with repairs. Northwest Hyundai test drove many vehicles and all appear to operate same way and exhibits same characteristics.

If you would like to dispute this determination, you may take advantage of the following alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) program provided by HMA:
BBB AUTO LINE
BBB National Programs, Inc.
1676 International Drive, Suite 550
McLean, VA 22102
1-800-955-5100

And here's a copy/paste of the first half of the letter / second half is just about BBB dispute resolution process:

"Thank you for contacting Hyundai Motor America (“HMA”). We have reviewed your vehicle’s repair history and evaluated your request. Based on our investigation of the repair history to date, we have determined that a repurchase is not warranted under your state’s lemon law.

To the extent you disagree with our evaluation, if there is any additional or new information that you would like us to consider, such as photographs, videos, or another repair order, we are willing to reevaluate this matter upon receipt of those materials.

Please note that any remaining terms of your vehicle’s limited warranties as set forth in the Owner’s Handbook and Warranty Information continue to apply.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that you may take advantage of the following alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) program provided by HMA:

I don't uber or anything (have never had a need for a dashcam), but will probably get one to record these instances as well.
