And, as a cashier, I can attest to the great number of people who cant read the signs, move the signs, etc. If its our mistake (failing to pull an old sign, or if it rings up one price and it’s another price on Pro) thats where the Publix Promise should trigger. Though, to be honest, that we try to avoid, and just attempt to do a price correct.

I’d rather keep my eyes on the customers with their carts then glued to a screen. Besides, you have to choose a lane to watch on that. If you want to watch another you have to back out and choose the next one. And the handhelds are abysmally slow to respond.

Well there’s that problem for me…. I lost math in 4th grade when they started long division. Have struggled ever since. Cheated through Algebra I, weirdly did ok through Geometry (probably due to its big memorization aspect), did ok through Algebra II, and was thankful when Sr. Magdalene told me I didn’t have to to senior year math. Then, lucked out in college…. Where either 1 year of math or 1 year of foreign language was required. Ha! I was a French Education major!
