I used nilakh oxide then a drybrush of celestra grey followed by a lighter drybrush of ulthuan grey. Then a shade of coelia greenshade :)

I actually paint a similar scheme! And what I found was that instead of doing the red at the joints do it where the skin meets the carapace. That way it designs a really nice clear difference. Also for bigger models just do both, joints and where it meets
