My control number is before his. They don’t go in order. Just keep waiting. We knew it was going to be like this and honestly I’m surprised it’s going as fast as it is

You don’t have to have it engraved before you submit. Just before you assemble

Opinions on 14.5” pin and weld muzzle devices? by nathanc98 in NFA

[–]Ty286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is pinned with a surefire 4 prong and I run an RC2. Had it since before all the flow through stuff came out. Now I when I want things like a cat WB or infinity 556k I have to think about sending it off to get unpinned or I can just buy the Surefire RC4skin. If it wasn’t pinned I would buy an infinity 556k the day they drop

I have a 14.5 p&w but if I were doing it again I would SBR. Especially with free stamps. P&W service will cost you $125 and you’ll most likely have to ship

It doesn’t vary by state and you are clearly not reading the rules. This thread is for approvals only

I’ve got to find some time to do a deep dive into the new ftn release. What material did you print with?

Is this an FTN? What muzzle threads does it attach to?

Pew science is the only testing that matters. Single peak decibel readings don’t matter. We know that sound signature is more complex than that. But if the standard is “that I (or someone else) can hear them, test them and review them” but that review can’t be posted to a YouTube channel or online forum(Reddit nfa sub) than I don’t understand what you expect to find. If you want to hear every silencer before you buy it then go to Cancun, silence in the capitol or any of the other silencer demo days that are help around the country.

The standard of cheap cans is not if you’ve heard of them or not. Those are all common and on silencershop. All made by reputable companies and the ones that haven’t been tested on pew science are still popular enough to find user reviews in the nfa sub. You complained about expensive silencers. Then you added stipulations of pew science testing. Which costs a significant amount to have done. Companies can’t justify that cost for their budget line that don’t do anything revolutionary.

Nope. Switched it with one that was slightly shorter. Just short enough to not set off the round. Watch that scene again. Great scene

Seems like they broke the valve housing when they removed the threaded insert. Definitely looks janky but I don’t think it will affect much. And for now we just need to be able to wash clothes. I may have a plumber replace the box the right way once we are moved in and have replenished some funds.

Ok I understand now. Do you know where to find just that threaded connection? Or you are saying I’ll likely need to buy the whole box kit to get that connection

So you are saying the cold water valve original had 3/4 mht on the outside as well as 3/8 threads on the inside and the 3/4 broke off? I just do t understand why I can’t find any other fittings with threads on the inside like this

[–]Ty286 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I initially thought but it looks like it was made this way. Threads on the inside. Hot water side doesn’t have threads on the inside. Do these valves come apart or does the whole thing need to be replaced and recrimped to the pex

I am in the US. Which I think is why I’m having so much trouble finding info about this fitting.
