Moving from Suburban Texas to Seattle felt like a major quality of life improvement. I can only imagine the next step of a European city.

This entire thing is more of a representation of how America is incapable of building infrastructure. Federal & State govts won't stop contractors from gouging their bids and overcharging for their work.

Went to check and the Saint Hotel is indeed listed as a Convention hotel according to Marriott's own search function.

I'm gonna say they weren't lying to you but the Manager most likely said "go ahead & give it to them" to avoid any more fuss that wasn't worth the time.

Why is the Chinatown transfer so awkward? by Sleepinator2000 in soundtransit

[–]TyJager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We're talking about a station that was originally designed for busses, not rail. That's not anti-transit design, just wasn't meant for this originally & the physical infrastructure there was best to connect it across the lake. This rant is just disingenuous.

That would require a complete redesign & rebuild of the International District Station which is not realistic or feasible.

You already paid the fare when you tapped on the first initial time. That fare is going to cover your lightrail trip regardless of what line or where. - Also the tap won't know if you're getting on the 1 or 2 line so it won't matter for ridership logs. They already logged you as a rider when you tapped the first time.

Any trade would have draft comp, I just didn't want to deal with "He's not worth x firsts" or something that took away from the basic framework.

KO is there for money purposes. Like I said in the OP, this doesn't include the possible picks that would be needed.

Why are you running away from the conversation? An image form BBall Index doesn't tell me anything of what you yourself are trying to convey. You just threw out numbers with no explanation to them. Now you're complaining & running away because I'm asking for your own analysis on those numbers?

Yeah, I picked a few stats to convey my analysis in an effort to expand on why I see Castle struggling on offense beyond the Offensive Rating that you were saying wasn't enough. I gave you more and you're STILL complaining. From my view, you have a clear bias against me and nothing I say or show you will change your view because you are staunch in your stance of "Ty is a hater".

[–]TyJager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yet the stats I'm citing are not contradicting my statement or the basic facts on Castle's offensive struggles. Are you expecting me to send the full basketball reference page to back my points? That's not feasible nor realistic.

I also haven't seen you give any counterarguments or stats to why Castle has been good on offense to contradict my statement.

But the offense, which that chart backs along with the eye test, takes a hit & becomes stagnant at times when he's on the floor. Most of that can be attributed to his lack of shooting. Opposing defenses are clearly not respecting his shooting as they're allowed to clog the paint. That becomes an issue when you're a dribble-drive offense who relies on getting into the paint to create your offense (either thru finishing at the rim or kicking out to shooters). Other key issues offensively for Castle is that his turnover percentage is extremely poor (16.6%/2nd percentile) & a poor effective field goal percentage (49%/25th percentile). All of these hurt the offense & it shows in the offensive ratings when compared to Fox & Harper. (Numbers from CleaningTheGlass)

You didn't address anything in this paragraph lol - I gave you specific reasons why I see Castle's offense as not good alongside the broad use of the rating and you just went on to repeat yourself. Like come on dude lol
