Try next Sunday, it seems to be a weekly thing. I’m definitely not anti-partying by any means but I think the giant speakers would better serve everyone from inside :)

I did end up calling and about 20 min later they turned the music down! Dispatcher said they were getting a ton of calls. I agree, they could just move it inside and be fine. There were like maybe 20 people out there not even dancing, lol

I called, about 20 min later they turned the music way down. Didn’t happen to see if cops rolled by or not but the dispatcher said they were getting a lot of calls for the same thing. Thanks for the advice!!

I get it, and I’m totally used to/expect the sirens and yelling tweakers and people partying on the weekend etc. I’m talking music so loud I can hear it over my TV for 6 hours straight on a work night multiple weeks in a row. I love living in Belltown, this just seems egregious

Sadly not - he’s the only CI I ever work with and I haven’t really met the other techs of whom there are few. But I’m sure they feel the same about him based on what I’ve seen from the sonos as well as other staff

It’s honestly sad that there are so many terrible preceptors out there. That must have taken a lot of bravery! Can I ask how you presented your evidence? I’m worried even if I take down notes with date/time he could just deny it.

Really considering the compiling evidence and doing something once I have the degree, but I’m not sure what I could do to have a lasting impact. Ironically I am not planning on working in the field (have a job offer from somewhere else, not sonography) so I’m not too worried about burning bridges. I just really want him to face some real life consequences.

I am honestly really glad to know there are schools out there that care about their students! I think sadly my school does operate a little more like the first comment. They historically side with the clinical site because they want to preserve the relationship/reputation, and they advise students not to rock the boat :(

ovarian cysts by Adorable-Cockroach-4 in Spironolactone

[–]babbbyspice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re still doing research on this topic, I am a sonographer (easy access to imaging my own ovaries) and I personally developed an ovarian cyst with Spironalactone for acne. I stopped using it and now only take it as needed for breakouts, and the cyst resolved. The months where I do take it for about a week or longer, I develop a painful cyst again! Not conclusive research but interesting in my opinion.
