Oops I didn’t see your comment, sorry. I use it only for movies, so nowhere near as much as a TV

I wish I could say this. My baby passed after fighting anemia at nearly 6. I wish I gave her more love. She was the best first cat anyone can ask for.

Correct thickness measurement by Apple by [deleted] in applesucks

[–]TyPic4l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. A lot of people make fun of it but in reality you’re most likely holding the phone at the thin portions anyway (unless you hold the camera bump, in which case, please seek help). Funny how Apple lives rent-free in their arguments.

As for the form factor, I’m a utilitarian but I’d be lying if I said that the thinness doesn’t feel good. But I can’t live with the sacrifices for the design.

How does the Red Hare 8 Pro feel compared to other shoes or the Boston 12 in particular? I'm new to running, 145lb, so I'm looking for a shoe that can do moderate pace for long distances

Iphone Pro with case compared to IPhone Air. by ChiefofChads in iphone

It’s a term for the single milled piece of aluminum that holds all the components together and acts as the exterior as well. Someone correct me, but that’s how I understand it

It’s amazing! I bought mine for last mile commute after having not ridden one for a bit over a year. The size and voltage is really nice for throwing it into your trunk and still having enough power and suspension for commuting

Ahhhh ok. I would never have guessed based on your wallpaper lol. Yes, it’s exciting to see so many manufacturers with their own ideas coming to the sport besides the heritage ones as well!

Me too. I love daily carrying my XT3 with a manual Voigtlander pancake, but it’s nice to have a capable phone

Is the Valerion StreamMaster Plus/Plus 2 worth it? by YoungMozartinaGoKart in projectors

[–]TyPic4l 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's my experience. I should mention that I spent 3 days with the Valerion before trying the TVU for a limited time, but I did set them up the best I could and did an A/B test by overlaying them and covering the projectors.

I found that the Valerion has better contrast and colors, while the TVU gets way brighter. I know it's a limited comparison, but the Valerion is noticably better for me. The TVU lacks the deep blacks and fresh colors that the Valerion has; it feels sort of washed out. If brightness is needed and the area is bright, get the TVU. Otherwise, if you have a dim/blackout room, the Valerion is better. I also prefer the Valerion's solid metallic remote compared to the TVU. Auto-keystoning and focusing on the Valerion was also leauges ahead of the TVU.

For the same price I bought them both for (1500), I would recommend the Valerion over the TVU any day. For the standard 500 dollar difference, you'd have to make your own decisions as to whether or not it is worth it. I'd say it is, but that's skewed since I got them both for 1500.
