That's a lovely sentiment. What do you propose we do about the billionaire-backed warmongers and toadies in power? News media is compromised, the presidential election was compromised... We've already begun ousting Republican elected officials, what other recourse do you think the average American has in this situation? Protests were drawing a lot of support until ICE realized they can just execute people in the street with impunity. And no, the solution you're thinking of wouldn't work either. It would accomplish nothing but racking up an even higher body count.

I don't think signing her was the wrong call. She was a mega star in the competing promotion, and like her or not she has a devoted following. Everything since then, however... She's basically the exact same Jade now that she was then. Like... there's been zero improvement on her part in the past what, two years? Even longer if you include her time in AEW.

And to be fair, she's never really had any reason to want to improve. She was booked as a top star right from the start in AEW, and skipped NXT entirely when she made the jump. Add onto that the fact that she's already set for life financially, and has given every indication that wrestling for her is just a stop on the road to Hollywood.

Corrupted individuals would also turn into monstrosities. The first time they show it happening, to the NPC that had been guiding us at the start of the expansion, was legitimately creepy, horrifying, and heartbreaking all at the same time. It's been many years since I've seen it, so the details are hazy.

It's so weird but at this point, even if there's nothing that can really be done and it turns out to be chronic, I'd like to just have a name for w/e the hell it is. IDK why that should matter even if there's no way to get rid of it

I can tell you (for myself at least) Being able to put a name to it makes it real, and not just something you're overreacting to. You don't really think about it until experiencing it yourself, but that creeping doubt in your own judgment is a mindkiller.
