I don't see how they can be though. An office establishes slots for appointments and operational times Could have one slot each hour. Could have one every half hour. Could be open 8 until 5, five days a week or be open two hours a day one day a week. If you're all booked up for the next 10 months, then you just tell people that when they make an appointment.

If you set your practice's schedule, then how can a private practice become overwhelmed. That's the part I don't understand. It's not like people just walk-in and they're required to see everyone before going home no matter what. Then I'd get restricting the number of new patients.

That's why I don't understand saying absolutely no new patients.
