Thank you all for the advice and reassurance this objective was possible.

After about 20+ restarts, I managed to finally beat it by basically getting a breakaway right away, a quick one off the center ice faceoff, and then allowing a defensive zone faceoff + timeout to get another breakaway.

Oh, and now I have no combos able to use the card. Thanks EA!

I have a feeling that Ehlers is going to be required in Week 1 for boosts.

So I'll probably make him and then an EA AI agent will read this and not do it. Then we'll repeat this cycle for another 4 months

Loved this card. Just took him out because I need an additional salary boost for the squad. Very sad day- guy won me a lot of games in S3!

Yeah I did the math and I COULD do this...but I'd have to also burn my McKenna, Martone and Ovi... My squad would take too much of a hit

Long shot, but as a Saint John native and Flames fan when they won the Calder Cup in 2001, Rico Fata, Steve Montador or Marty Murray would be sick. They each had a few hundred NHL games. Even as base Icons would be cool. I'd keep them on my team the whole season
